Chapter 77

Every day that passes by is another day for Levi to learn the reality of life. From living in a beautiful two story house to crappy bungalow. His life went into a tragic turn. But for some reason, he feels happy.

Now that he finally got the chance to live like the majority of the people around him, his mind became more open. As he sees the daily struggle of the kind of people he used to ignore before, Levi became more aware of how hard life is. There are times that he would sit in front of the wet market as young boys go back and forth delivering goods.

"Hey, kiddo. What's that?" Levi asked a kid who looked barely thirteen years old pushing a cart of produce.

"Oh, this? I work at a farm not far from here."

"How old are you? Do you still have parents?"

"Yes, my mama and papa are still alive. But my dad has been paralyzed since I was seven, then my mom was diagnosed with tuberculosis when I was ten years old."
