CHAPTER 3

Czarina’s POV

I was woken up by the sunlight that hit my eyes. Napamulat ako at kaagad na napadaing dahil sa sakit ng katawan at ulo ko.

Damn, what the heck did I do last night? Sobrang dami ba ng nainom ko? I’m so careless.

Akmang babangon na ako when I felt something heavy on top of my stomach. Napatingin ako roon at kaagad na nanglaki ang mga mata ko.

Why the fuck am I naked? And who’s hand is this on my stomach?!

Someone is beside me?!

Omygod!

Czarina what did you freaking do last night?!

Napasapo ako sa ulo ko at napatingin sa katabi ko. I bit my lower lips as I found out who it was. Potangina, anong ginawa mo, Czarina?!

Napahilot ako sa sintido ko.

Ryscel, my secretary is beside me, on my fucking bed and we’re both naked!

“AHHHHHH!!!!,” sigaw ko dahilan upang magising ito.

“Ah w-what happend—miss Czarina? Why are you here?!” Kaagad ko siyang tinulak at dali-daling hinila ang kumot para itakip sa katawan ko.

But it was a wrong move, I forgot he was naked too causing his body to flash in front of me. I stared for a second, shocked.

Napalunok ako.

Damn, t-that's huge, kinaya ko ‘yan?! Omygosh Czarina, anong pinagsasabi mo?!

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!,” Umalingaw ngaw ang sigaw ko sa buong mansion.

Napa turo-turo ako sa kanya habang sumisigaw, making him panic at dali-daling hinanap ang saplot niya as he also realised he was naked.

“Damn it, what should I do? What have I done!” I started questioning myself and life decisions.

Napahilot ako sa sintido ko.

I-It’s my first.

I stared blankly at my laptop habang iniisip lahat ng nangyari sa ‘kin kahapon. My boyfriend fucked another woman, I got drunk, and fucked my secretary.

The worst was, I-It's my first, Ryscel was my first. I was saving my first for marriage but look what happend, I was careless.

Forget it

Saint is already marrying that bitch at nagawa ko na ang hindi ko dapat ginawa.

Wala na akong paki-alam, what happens already happend. I can't rewind time to stop myself from riding on top of my secretary noh.

“Shit.” Napadaing ako. Damn I'm all sore down there, tapos sobrang sakit pa ng ulo ko.

I feel like dying na talaga.

“Miss Czarina.” Kaagad akong nagulat dahil sa pagsulpot niya sa gilid ko.

Napatingin ako sa kanya pero napa-iwas din kaagad, I'm embarrassed of what I did with him last night.

I recalled it all, I seduced him first, damn it kakahiya. I'm afraid he won't see me as his professional boss anymore.

Ngumiti siya sa 'kin. Argh, how can he smile na parang walang nangyari between the two of us?

May nilapag itong kape sa desk ko, pero hindi ako umimik. I don’t want to, wala akong mukhang maihaharap.

“Miss, about last night…” Napatakip ako sa noo ko. Why does he have to mention it, I'm so embarrassed na nga.

Parang napaisip din ito at napatango.

Napatango-tango rin ako, mabuti nalang madaling kausap si Ryscel.

Kumawala ako ng malalim na hininga.

“Let’s go back to work? Did Mr. Alvarez sign the contract?” Bumalik siya sa pagiging seryoso at kinuha ang isang folder bago binigay sa ‘kin.

Akmang kukunin ko na ito when I suddenly felt dizzy, damn this hang over. Napakapit so sa bisig niya para mabalik ang balanse ko.

“Miss Czarina, are you okay?” Inalalayan ako nito at pinaupo sa swivel chair ko.

Napasapo ako sa ulo ko.

“I’m fine Ryscel, just give me water.” Kumuha siya ng tubig at binigay iyon sa ‘kin, ininom ko naman iyon kaagad.

Argh, I really hate kapag nag kakahang-over ako, it feels like someone is squeezing my head nonstop.

“You should rest, miss.” Napatingin ako kay Ryscel, he looks worried pero umiling ako.

I have to work, sobrang daming clients, if I rest just a day, this company will surely stop operate, especially madami kaming interns.

“I can’t,” sagot ko sa kanya at akmang kukunin ko na ang folder but he stopped me.

Kunot-noo ko siyang tinignan.

“What are you doing?” Takang tanong ko.

“You have to rest miss Czarina.” Nagulat ako sa tono ng boses niya, maawtoridad iyon, making me submissive.

He suddenly wrapped his hands around me at kinarga ako in a bridal style. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa ginawa niya but I didn't resist.

I just let him, napatingin ako sa labas ng office ko, someone might see us, darn it.

Pinahiga niya ako sa sofa na nandito sa opisina ko at kaagad na lumabas without saying a word. Confused, I followed him with my gaze at tumungo siya sa kanyang desk?

May kinuha siyang paper bag at bumalik sa akin. Nagkunwari akong humihiga lang, para hindi niya isipin na intresado ako sa ginagawa niya.

Pagkapasok niya ulit sa opisina ko ay kaagad niyang nilapag ang paper bag sa desk na malapit sa hinihigaan ko ngayon at may kinuha na parang tumbler?

Nangunot ang noo ko, lumapit siya sa akin at binuksan iyon. I met a tasty aroma as he opened the lid.

“Drink this soup po, it might reduce your hang-over.” Binigay niya sa ‘kin, iyon. Wala akong nagawa kundi kunin ito.

Nakatingin lang siya sa ‘kin as I drink the soup, hindi na bago sa ‘kin ang pinapakita ni Ryscel, he’s always very caring to me.

Sabi niya raw, he just wants to help me just like how I helped him. But I don’t seem to remember helping him, maybe sa work siguro?

“Ahh.” Mahina ‘kong daing dahil biglang kumirot na naman ang ano ko, basta ang ano.

Huhu hindi manlang ako makagalaw nang maayos dahil sa sobrang sakit.

“Is it hot po ba? Ayos lang po kayu?” Umiling ako.

“No it’s not the soup, it my—” Napahinto ako, fuck, why would I tell him that.

He seemed to understand ang tinutukoy ko despite not finishing my words at napakagat ng labi niya.

He looked at me, worried.

“Does it hurt that much? I’m sorry.” Nagulat ako.

What the heck Ryscel, why would he casually ask and say that to me? Sobrang naive naman ng lalaking ‘to.

“I’m fine, oh eto, I drunk it all na, you can go back to your work.” I gave him the tumbler na nilagyan niya ng soup at pinaalis na siya.

I'm not to being rude, nahihiya lang ako. It’s really so awkward.

Days turned to weeks at ganoon pa rin ang pakikitungo ni Ryscel sa ‘kin, I tried my best not to get awkward, dahil nga sa nangyari noong gabing ‘yon but when he’s around parang nawawala ako sa sarili ko, palagi akong nauutal and sometimes make mess.

I can also sense his awkwardness when I'm around.

But despite all that, he remained as a responsible secretary like before. Ryscel actually had been my secretary for 4 years, mas nauna kaming magkakilala kesa sa gagong Saint na ‘yon.

Speaking of that motherfucker, he’s in my office right now. Wanted to fix our ‘relationship’ like, the audacity? How could he? Ang kapal ng mukha.

“Fuck off!” I raised my middle finger at him pero napairap lang ito.

“Come on, Czarina, ako na nga ‘tong naghahanap ng paraan para lang mag kabati tayo eh.” I scoffed.

“Oh, and should I be grateful for that? Hoy potangina mo, you cheated on me and even bragged about marrying her, so what the fuck are you doing here? Saying these lies?” I’m waiting for his response.

Pero hindi siya umimik, at napaupo ito sa sofa ko. Tsk, madudumihan pa ‘yan Ng cheater virus eh.

“You’re being hard to get, okay. I already break up with her, and you’re the one I want to marry now.” He smiled, but that’s obviously fake, fake like his veneers.

Napangisi ako, I leaned towards my desk then crossed my arms at him.

“Let me guess, your parents forced you to beg here, didn’t they?” Kaagad nawala ang ngiti si labi niya at napalitan ng seryosong mukha.

I knew it

He can’t fool me twice, hindi ako tanga.

“I’m not gonna get back to you, Saint Sanford, you broke me, alam mo ba yun? So if you don't mind leaving my building, I would be grateful.” May sasabihin pa sana ito pero kaagad siyang nag alangan at napa asik na lamang.

I smirked as he turned to leave.

Serves you right, asshole.

Pag kalabas ni Saint ay kaagad din naman pumasok si Ryscel, damn it, it’s him again. Act natural and professional, Czarina.

“Did he do something to you? You look bothered” Kaagad na tanong nito, umiling lang ako.

I’m bothered because of you, silly Ryscel.

Napatango-tango siya at may nilahad na folder sa ‘kin. Nangunot naman ang noo ko at kinuha iyon.

“It’s for Miss Enriquez, you can sign here po,” saad niya sabay turo sa parte ng contract kung saan ako pipirma.

Akmang pirmahan ko na ito nang makaramdam ako ng pagkaduwal. Napabitaw ako sa ballpen na hawak ko.

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko.

Damn it, what the heck is going on? Why do I suddenly wanted to freaking barf.

“Miss Czarina? Are you okay?” Hindi ko pinansin si Ryscel at dali-daling pumunta sa C.R at doon na ako nasuka.

I wanted to cry, I feel uneasy.

What's wrong with me?

After barfing, napahabol ako sa paghinga ko. Napa-isip ako kung bakit bigla akong nasusuka. Suddenly I remembered—right it must be the breakfast I had, tsk medyu malansa na kasi ang lasa Ng yogurt na kinain ko.

Wait, may malansa ba na yogurt? Napailing-iling ako. Puyat lang siguro ako, I should take a rest kahit isang oras lang.
