The entire hall was filled with sophisticated people. Both he-wolves and she-wolves

They were all dressed in red, that's my mother's favorite color.

Being the Alpha I had to be early for my mum's birthday.

She was the happiest in the hall, I could see through the smile on her face.

I stood close to her as a waiter walked close to me. I took a glass of wine from his tray while staring at the door entrance.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I feel my night wouldn't be complete if I don't see that one person I'm expecting tonight.

I didn't stop checking my watch, and the door entrance… I just can't live without her.

I wanted to see her so bad, that I was tempted to ask Miles about her. since he's always over her like a pest.
