At Margret house.

“Mom, you have to make Stephanie leave the country, Nathan and I are getting married in a few days and I don’t want any mistakes.”

“I was thinking the same, but Stephanie had already left the country, I went to their house today and met only her father who told me that Stephanie left this morning.” Margret said.

“Mom, don’t you think the might be playing tricks on us.”

“No, I had someone track Stephanie’s location and it shows the airport, I drove to the airport myself and saw her board the plane, so you don’t have to worry there’s no more obstacles.”

Jane narrowed her eyes, we were planning to make her leave , but she left on her own, what is she planning? “mom don’t you think that’s so coincidental!”

“Coincidence happens all the time in the world, this is just one of them. Maybe she can’t bear to see you get married to Nathan and decided to leave.”

After thinking it through , Jane nodded , “yeah! That makes sense.”

“Okay, don’t over think it, are the paparazzi ready?”Margret asked.

“Everything is set.” Jane replied.-

The next day, the car pulled over in front of the civil affairs bureau. Nathan was somewhat surprised to find paparazzi present, after all, no one knew he was getting his marriage certificate today. He glanced at Jane beside him and understood everything.

“Jane i warn you, don’t try to be clever in front of me.”

Jane fearlessly met his gaze, “do you think I brought those paparazzi? I’m I that bored to do such a thing? If you don’t believe me, you can investigate and see if I brought them here.”

Seeing her determined face, Nathan withdraw his suspicion gaze. “Maybe this is grandpa’s doing,” he thought.

As they emerged from the car, a dazzling display of camera light and shutters greeted them.

The paparazzi were in a frenzy, capturing every detail.

“President Robinson, is it true that you are here to get your marriage certificate with Ms. Williams.?”

“President Robinson, when did you start this relationship with Ms. Williams? And when did it progress so quickly?”

“President Robinson, you and Ms. Williams are a perfect match and will make a great couple!”

“President Robinson, what do you think about this marriage?”

Looking at the surging paparazzi, Nathan glanced at his bodyguards, who immediately came forward to stop the constantly advancing paparazzi.

They quickly obtained their marriage certificate and left.

Few days later..

Jane stared at herself in the mirror in disbelief, she can’t believe that in less than an hour, she will be saying “I Do,” to the world richest man, Nathan Robinson.

She has finally achieved her dream of becoming Mrs Robinson and Nathan’s wife.

Even though, Nathan doesn’t love her, she believes that things will change after tonight.

Maybe he will finally start noticing her after their vows.

Her trail of thoughts were ruined when her mother walked into the room.

Her mother, Margret is the happiest of them all, she is finally becoming an in-law to the Robinsons . Her circle of friends will now start to respect her, those who looked down on her will now look up to her with envy.

“Jane, your car is here, are you ready?” Margret asked excitedly.

“I’m ready.”

Margret helped her into the car and they drove to the church.

“By the power vested in me, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride to seal this vow,” the priest said.

Hearing this , Jane’s heart skipped a beat, she looked at Nathan who has no intentions of kissing her. She knew that Nathan doesn’t love her, and was forced into marrying her, what if he abandoned her on the altar and walked away, she won’t only be the headline on Weibo by tomorrow, but she will be mocked by those who envy her now.

In the next second, grandpa Robinson appeared and shook his head at Nathan.

Nathan froze and reluctantly kissed her.

The audience below who didn’t notice anything amiss, clapped and cheered.

After the wedding, they moved into Nathan’s villa with some friends who escorted them home, Nathan didn’t introduce her to anyone, but having grown up alongside with Nathan, Jane knew some of Nathan’s close friends like Nicholas.

When the house was left with only Nathan and Jane, Nathan walked over to a couch in the living room and sat down, he lifted his gaze and looked at Jane. “ being Mrs Robinson comes with some rules which you must abide by.”

“Don’t enter my room,”

“Don’t touch me or anything that belongs to me.”

“Don’t talk to me.”

There are many servants here, anything you want to know you can talk to them about it, they will show you your room when I’m done and if you need anything you can tell them.

Jane’s eyes widened in shock, rules on her wedding night? Even though, she knew that Nathan doesn’t love her, this was totally unexpected. With all this rules. How can she give birth to Nathan’s children and secure her position as Mrs Robinson before Stephanie returns.

Nathan brought out a black card and gave it to her, “you can buy anything you want with this card, don’t come to me for anything.”

Jane had a lot to say, but Nathan’s imposing presence made it impossible for her to speak.

She swallowed hard and stuttered. “O-okay, I…I understand. She stretched her hand and took the card.

When Nathan was sure his words had sank in, he turned to leave, after taking three steps he hesitated and turned back.

“You were not the one that night , right?” Nathan finally asked the question that had been bothering him for a long time.

How could Jane not know the night he was referring to. But what surprised her is that Nathan asked her this question, did he discover anything? If he had, he wouldn’t be here questioning her, he would have taken the evidence to his grandfather and call off the marriage.

He wouldn’t have married her if he had evidence, maybe he had his suspicions, and is trying to trick her into revealing the truth.

After all a man like Nathan cannot easily be fooled.

With this in mind, she suppressed her emotions, and fearlessly met Nathan’s gaze , “what do you mean by that, stop talking nonsense if you don’t have evidence?”

She deliberately emphasized the word ‘evidence’“ to see Nathan’s reaction.

Nathan scrutinized her face, trying to detect any form of fear or panic, but he couldn’t find any, he withdraw his gaze. “You better be saying the truth,” with that he walked away.

Jane who had been on edge now finally relaxed, just as she had thought, Nathan doesn’t have evidence, just speculating.

Thank God Stephanie is no longer in the country.

Thinking of Stephanie who had slept with Nathan while she couldn’t , her anger flared up.

She thought that after their wedding, she would be able to sleep with Nathan. He didn’t only stop her from sharing a bed with him, but gave her three rules on their wedding night.

“Stephanie, you brat you can only have a one night stand with Nathan while i becomes Mrs Robinson forever,” she muttered under her breath.
