I opened my eyes hearing the soft beeping sound of a machine and tilted my head towards the sound only to see a monitor. But I was too tired to keep them open, so I closed my eyes with a soft sigh. “ She is awake,” a soft feminine voice said which made me open my eyes again. I looked towards the way the voice came from only to be shocked to see so many eyes were already staring down at me. “ I……I……. Who are you?” I asked, my voice sounded hoarse and rough. “ I am Maria and these are my team and they are the warriors,” she said, introducing herself and the others. I looked at each one of them but there were still two other people standing there who she didn't introduce. Then I looked at my surroundings, it wasn't a hospital and it looked very much like a room of someone very important or should I say dangerous. “ Where is this place?” I asked, shifting my attention to her. “ Why am I here?” My next question shocked them all. I kept staring at Maria who opened her mouth to say something before closing them again, and then I saw something flickered in her eyes before she spoke. “ You…….. you don't remember?” she asked carefully, stepping closer to the bed but didn't dare to sit next to me. I only shook my head at her. “ I…… only remember my name,” I said, and I could feel a lump forming in my throat as my vision blurred. “ And what is it?” A deep, velvety and dangerous voice said. It didn't belong to any of them. Then they all parted for the owner of the voice as heade his way towards me. My breath hitched looking into his green eyes piercing through me like he is solving some unknown mystery. He is tall with broadening shoulders, dark brown hair. His jaw was sharp and chiseled with a pointed nose. His skin was fair. I have never seen such a handsome creature until now. “ What is your name?” he repeated his question again as he stood right beside me. “ Lily”!!! “ How did you end up in that forest?” Someone asked. “ I am Damien by the way,” he said, he was the one standing there before and Maria didn't introduce them. “ I…… don't remember,” I said, my voice trembling. How did I end up like this? I asked myself. “ It's okay, we will work on that later. Right now you need rest and you need to recover from all your injuries,” Maria said quickly. “ You don't remember where you come from? Or your family?” Damien asked. “ Damien.” “ Alpha,” he immediately stood straight. So he is their Alpha. No wonder he is radiating such a powerful aura. “ Do you have a wolf, lily?” He asked, looking into my eyes. I don't know why I am so drawn to him. I want him to cradle me in his arms, I want him closer to me. “ Yes,” I replied, averting my gaze from him. The moment I looked away from him the air around us changed. “ Leave us alone,” he ordered after a couple of seconds. “ Alpha, she needs rest,” Maria explained, sensing he is getting angry. “ We can't pressure her to remember…… her words were cut off by his low growl, which made me flinch. “ I wish to talk to her alone,” he said and one by one everyone emptied the room leaving us alone. From the corner of my eyes I saw him turning around and walking towards the chair before dragging it back until he was standing right beside me. He took a seat maintaining a respectable distance between us, I could still feel his heat. He didn't say anything but kept his eyes on me. “ Do you need water?” He asked, staring at my mouth. “ Yes,” I said, and tried to sit up straight, as soon as I did a sharp pain shot through my ribs. “ Let me help you,” with that he came towards me and helped me sit up on the bed. Then he handed me a glass of water. I took the glass from him and emptied it in one go. After I finished it, he took the glass from my hand and placed it on the side table. “ Thank you Alpha.” “ Now, I need to know a few things and I am sure you will cooperate with me,” he said, looking at me expectingly. I nodded my head. “ You said you have a wolf, what is her name?” He asked. “ Maya,” a low whisper echoed in my head. “ Maya.” “ Do you remember anything about how you ended up in that part of the forest?” He asked. “ Please believe me I don't remember anything,” I said. I understand it is difficult for him to believe me but I am trying to remember something, anything but I couldn't. “ Hmmm,” he only hummed in response. His response made me somewhat disappointed. “ since you can't remember who you are and where you came from…. He paused for a few moments gauging my reactions. “ Let me make an offer,” he finished his words. “ I will take you in till you remember everything. Till then you will live here under my protection. Are you okay with that?” He asked. “ I…… I…… “ and after you remember everything, you can decide where you want to go. If you wish to go with your previous pack, no one will stop you,” he said, clenching his fists on his lap. “ Thank you. Alpha. For your kindness,” I thanked him, gulping the lump in my throat. Why do I feel like no one ever showed me this type of kindness? The back of my eyes burned and I blinked the tears back. I don't want to cry in front of me. I don't want him to think I am weak, but another tiny part of me wants to cry my heart out in his arms. “ You can stay here until you recover from your injuries,” he said. “ Rest, someone will be here and if you need anything just tell them,” he said as he stood up from the chair. Before he turned around, I grabbed his wrist, stopping him on his track. He halted, looking down at my hand before he looked at me. “ I want to know something,” I said. He waited for me to continue. “ How did you find you? I mean where? And what condition I was in?” The moment the words left my mouth his face went hard and his eyes became cold. After he told me everything, the little bit of energy I had left in me drained from my body. Thousands of questions started swirling around my mind. I was stuck on the name of the blue heaven pack. What was I doing there? Why did I lose my memory? “ You don't have to worry about anything, the rogues are dead,” he said. “ Thank you for saving me,” I said, my voice trembling. I kept my eyes on the bed as I was unable to look up at him. I heard him sigh, before he put his index finger under my chin and lifted it up to meet his gaze. “ You will stay here until you recover,” he said, searching my eyes. “ I will,” I said before I could even stop myself. “ I will not let any harm come near you, Lily,” he added. I gave him a nod and only then he let go of my chin and stepped back. I saw him turning around and walking out of the room. The moment he closed the door a soft sob escaped my lips as my shoulder trembled. Thank you moon goddess for sending him to save me, I silently thanked her and let myself fall on the mattress again. The scent on the pillow made me calm down. “ Maya?” I called my wolf and waited for a reply but there was nothing. She sounded weak when she told me her name, with a sigh I stared out of the window. I can't run away but I have to know the answers. Maybe if I go back to the territory where the Alpha found me, I will get my answers. And for that I have to recover and heal. With a sigh, I closed my eyes.Caspian After leaving her in my room I went straight to the nearby guest room to take a cold shower. Shedding the layers from my body I stood under the shower. My muscles relaxed as soon as the water made contact with my body.F**k, I punched the wall making the tile break. How can she affect me in this way? I swore I would not take a mate but she…….With frustration, I walked out of the shower and dried myself before I stepped into the room where my clothes were already placed on the bed. After getting ready I went straight to the living room.“ How was the training?” I asked.“ It went well, Alpha,” Liam replied.“ Good.”I took a seat on the couch and they followed the suite one by one.“ How's everything going on, on the border?” I asked. I can't delay everything for one person whose origin is still unknown. My wolf growled in my head in protest.“ Everything seems normal,” Liam replied.“ I have talked to the warriors. They said everything is good,” he added. That made me think
LilyThe morning came too quickly to my liking. I opened my eyes to find myself clutching a particular pillow to my chest.I knew who it belonged to after knowing it was his room. I know he isn't my mate but his scent makes me comfortable and safe. I was lost in my thoughts when the door of the room swung open, breaking my thoughts. I quickly put the pillow aside before sitting up on the bed.“ Hello, dear,” the woman from earlier said as she came in followed by the beta of the pack and another warrior whose name is Carl if I am not wrong. He is not here with them, he didn't come.“ How are you feeling right now?” She asked, with a warm smile playing on her lips.“ I am feeling much better than before and I also think my bones are healed,” I said, her smile faltering for a moment as her brows knitted together.“ Are you sure?” She asked. I nodded my head at her.“ Well, it's good that you are recovering fast,” she said as one of her team members looked at me and then at her.“ but you
LilyA soft sigh left my lips as soon as I woke up. The pain on my body has subsided somehow as I didn't feel any pain when I moved. The room was dimly lit but the moonlight which was coming through the French window was enough to light the whole space. Getting up from the bed, I made my way towards the balcony and slid the glass door open. The soft wind welcomed me as soon as I stepped outside.“ Moon goddess,” I whispered, looking towards the full moon. “ Please help me,” I said looking up. I don't want to know who I am and from which pack I belong. A part of me feels safe here as if I don't want to go back.“ Please guide me,” I said, losing myself in my thoughts. I had become so invested in my own thoughts that I didn't notice a strong, powerful and familiar presence behind me.“ It looks like the moon is smiling down at you,” a deep, velvety voice startled me, making me clutch my chest as I turned around so fast that I almost tripped.“ Careful, little flower,” he said, snaking
Caspian “ What the hell?” I almost yelled as soon as I stopped out of my room. Liam, Damien and Carl were waiting outside the door or should I say eavesdropping on me.“ We were concerned about that girl,” Liam said. If I didn't know better I would have believed him. I only shook my head with a sigh.“ Come with me,” saying that, I walked to my office which was on the same floor. They all trailed behind me.“ Close the door and take a seat,” I said, walking around the old oak table before sitting on my chair. They all took their seats in front of me and waited for me to continue.Where should I start from? Honestly I don't know either. But one thing I know is that I don't want her to go anywhere but my room. There has been this ache in my chest since I walked out of my room.“ Did anyone call from any pack?” I asked.“ No one called to report any missing members but the beta of the blue heaven pack called,” Damien said, making me raise an eyebrow. They sure are desperate.“ What did

Caspian “ I don't care,” I growled, opening my eyes as I looked at all of the members sitting around the table.“ You have to. You are the Alpha king and you are almost 30 yet you haven't found your mate yet,” Edward said, looking towards me expecting an answer from me.“ What do you suggest we should do, Alpha king? Should we stand by and watch the legacy fall as you get older while you wait for your fated mate?” Another one asked.“ Before you think for yourself, think about the others, Caspian. It has been so long and you have almost visited every pack since then,” my mother who has been observing quietly spoke.“ If she existed you would have found her,” she added, looking at me.“ I will let you know my decision once I am back after the treaty,” I said and stood up before they could say one more word and left the room. I could feel the sadness in my mother's eyes and disappointment in my father's.“ Damien,” I called.“ Alpha,”“ We will leave right now,” I said and was walking
Lily“ Where am I?” I asked myself with a groan, blinking my lashes rapidly. I wasn't in the hospital anymore. The sheet under me felt soft and silky and comfortable, making me not want to get up unless I took a deep breath. The moment the familiar scent hit my nostrils my whole body went stiff. A
Lily‘Oh goddess no please’I had lost count of how many times I had pleaded with the moon goddess in my mind to not let them strike me more.“ Argh,” I screamed yet again when Veronica's feet made contact with my stomach.“ You pathetic piece of sh*t,” she snarled at me as she continuously hit me
