Lily‘Oh goddess no please’I had lost count of how many times I had pleaded with the moon goddess in my mind to not let them strike me more.“ Argh,” I screamed yet again when Veronica's feet made contact with my stomach.“ You pathetic piece of sh*t,” she snarled at me as she continuously hit me at my ribs.“ I didn't know how it happened,” I groaned , clutching my stomach as I curled up on the floor.“ You pathetic lying sh*t,” she screamed before she hit on my ribs one more time. I screamed in agony and withered in pain.“ What is happening here?” Ben's voice boomed in the hall and that is when they stepped back from my broken body.“ What the hell?” He yelled before he came towards me in a panic. Through my blurry vision I could see the worry on his face. In the whole pack only a few people had been kind to me and future beta liam and his family was one of them.Crouching down he moved the hairs that stuck to my face away before wiping the blood with his sleeve from the corner of

Caspian “ I don't care,” I growled, opening my eyes as I looked at all of the members sitting around the table.“ You have to. You are the Alpha king and you are almost 30 yet you haven't found your mate yet,” Edward said, looking towards me expecting an answer from me.“ What do you suggest we should do, Alpha king? Should we stand by and watch the legacy fall as you get older while you wait for your fated mate?” Another one asked.“ Before you think for yourself, think about the others, Caspian. It has been so long and you have almost visited every pack since then,” my mother who has been observing quietly spoke.“ If she existed you would have found her,” she added, looking at me.“ I will let you know my decision once I am back after the treaty,” I said and stood up before they could say one more word and left the room. I could feel the sadness in my mother's eyes and disappointment in my father's.“ Damien,” I called.“ Alpha,”“ We will leave right now,” I said and was walking

Caspian “ What the hell?” I almost yelled as soon as I stopped out of my room. Liam, Damien and Carl were waiting outside the door or should I say eavesdropping on me. “ We were concerned about that girl,” Liam said. If I didn't know better I would have believed him. I only shook my head with a sigh. “ Come with me,” saying that, I walked to my office which was on the same floor. They all trailed behind me. “ Close the door and take a seat,” I said, walking around the old oak table before sitting on my chair. They all took their seats in front of me and waited for me to continue. Where should I start from? Honestly I don't know either. But one thing I know is that I don't want her to go anywhere but my room. There has been this ache in my chest since I walked out of my room. “ Did anyone call from any pack?” I asked. “ No one called to report any missing members but the beta of the blue heaven pack called,” Damien said, making me raise an eyebrow. They sure are desperate

LilyThe morning came too quickly to my liking. I opened my eyes to find myself clutching a particular pillow to my chest.I knew who it belonged to after knowing it was his room. I know he isn't my mate but his scent makes me comfortable and safe. I was lost in my thoughts when the door of the room swung open, breaking my thoughts. I quickly put the pillow aside before sitting up on the bed.“ Hello, dear,” the woman from earlier said as she came in followed by the beta of the pack and another warrior whose name is Carl if I am not wrong. He is not here with them, he didn't come.“ How are you feeling right now?” She asked, with a warm smile playing on her lips.“ I am feeling much better than before and I also think my bones are healed,” I said, her smile faltering for a moment as her brows knitted together.“ Are you sure?” She asked. I nodded my head at her.“ Well, it's good that you are recovering fast,” she said as one of her team members looked at me and then at her.“ but you

“ Thank you for coming here, Athea,” I was truly grateful to her.She smiled softly before reaching over and tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.“ You don't have to thank me, Lily,” she said gently.“ Friends don't thank each other.”Friends. The word felt foreign on my tongue. Did I ever have one before? I couldn't remember.A faint ache settled in my chest as I searched my mind, hoping to find at least one familiar face. Nothing. Only darkness.“ Friends?” I repeated under my breath.“ Yes,” she answered with a grin.“ Unless you don't want to be my friend," she added softly.A small smile tugged at my lips for what felt like the first time today.“ I would like to be your friend, Athea," i said almost immediately.“ Then it is settled,” she declared proudly with a bright smile on her face.“ From today onwards, you are my friend," she said with a proud shake of her head. A soft chuckle escaped my lips.“ You are childish," i said smiling genuinely at her.“ I know,” she l
