Chapter 168: The Devil in a White Garment

KILLIAN'S POV

I took to my feet immediately, rushing back to the house. I only knew little about pregnancy, but I had kept an accurate record of how long she had been pregnant. It was just six months. Was it normal for the baby in the womb to start moving? I couldn't tell for sure. But her voice seemed disturbed.

When I got to the house, I barged into the room to see Erika's belly bulging up and down.

"What is this?" I gasped.

It looked so outrageous like the baby was kicking her from inside. But what was more outrageous was that Erika wasn't feeling any pain from that.

"He's talking, but I can't hear him," Erika said to me.

How did she know it was a "he"?

"I think his Father will be the one to understand him," she said to me.

Curiously, I walked closer to the bed and placed my ear on Erika's belly listening.

"Father, you're in danger!" A shriek flew into my ears.

I shuddered back immediately, falling on the floor. That was when the kick suddenly quieted down.
