Chapter 7

Alphas Waynes POV

When she started to cry even harder, I felt like I had done something or said something wrong. I continued to hold her. She had cried so hard that she cried herself to sleep. I wanted to move, but I did not want to disturb her. I must have dozed off because the next thing I knew, Raymond came in.

" I need to check your wound, sweetie."

I almost took his head off for calling her "sweetie". I growled at him

"She's not your sweetie."

" Alpha, calm down."

I knew that he did not mean any harm by what he said. That he was just trying to be nice and keep Lizzie calm. I then got off the bed, and she rolled over onto her back. Raymond was very pleased that her wound was healing. It was finally closing as it should. 

" She can get the stitches out tomorrow. "

I bet that letting out her emotions helped her body know it was time to start healing. Also, my touch probably helped to. Alphas have healing powers. 

" She can go to your house today if you promise that she will rest."

" I promise."

She was going to get all the rest and love that I can provide. I know that Julie already knew that she would need special care when she came home. I knew she would help out in every way she could. Julie had gotten Lizzie some sweats. Cameron had dropped them off earlier.

"I had my beta bring these for you."

It was a blue hoodie and gray sweatpants. It had a picture of my academy on it. I then said.

"Ill  Step out so you can get dressed."

"There is no need for you to do that."

I was shocked that she said that I did not need to step out. It is true that I have already seen her naked. 

" You have already seen me naked."

She sat up, then slowly got out of bed to get dressed. She must have still felt pretty weak because she leaned against me so she could get her pants on. The sweatshirt was a little big on her. However, that is what they are supposed to do.

" Are you ready to go?"

" Yes, I am."

The nurse had brought in a wheelchair for her to sit in and be wheeled out. However, there was no way she was going to ride in a wheelchair when I wanted to carry her. I picked her up and headed to the elevators. I had Cameron bring the Mustang to pick us up. It was small, but it would be comfortable. I did not want to ride in the limo. Even though I could have. When we reached the car, Cameron opened the door. I didn't even bother to put her down on the seat. I climbed into the car and put her on my lap.

Knowing she had no underwear on was driving me crazy. If she wasn't in such a fragile state right now, I would try and seduce her. However, right now was not the time. Thankfully, it's only a ten-minute drive. When we arrived at the house, I got out of the car. The expression on her face told me that she was surprised by how big the house is. Everyone was on the steps waiting for us. Julie must have told them. I wasn't expecting such a homecoming. Then, in unison, they all said.

" Welcome home Luna."

Mikey the butler opened the door for us. 

"Thank you, Mikey."

" Yes Alpha."

I carried her upstairs to my room. I gently sat her on the bed. I was afraid that I had hurt her carrying her. Im not always gentle.

" Are you ok."

" Im not always gentle."

" Im fine." 

" thats good."

" Can I get you anything."

" No Im fine."

I was trying to not act like a teenager but I did nto know how to act. Just then there was a knock on the door.

" Come in."

My sister then walked into the room. She tan over to me and gave me a hug. 

" Luna its not nice to meet you."

" Im Angela."

" This is my sister."

It seemed like Lizzie was holding her breath. But once I said that she was my sister, she let it out. Angela was sitting on the bed talking to Lizzie. Angels then hugged her. 

" Wayne, is it true that her father tried to kill her?"

" Yes, it is."

Lizzie was crying again. I had Cameron pick up her pain medicine before we left the hospital. I went and got her a pill. 

" Here, take this."

I got her a cup of water and gave her a pill. She took it. I knew it would take a minute to kick in. 

" Are you hungry.

" No."

I came and sat down on the bed next to her. I pulled her into my lap. I had no idea what to do. I knew she was heartbroken. Because she lost her family and pack. Im sure she had friends in the pack that she would miss. I do have things that I need to do. I need to go interrogate those men who ran into the hospital and find out how they knew that Lizzie was here and alive. I was not happy that they had burst into the hospital room. As she sat on my lap, she fell asleep.

I knew that she would need time to adjust. After she fell asleep, I lay her on the bed and then went to find Cameron. I found him in the kitchen getting something to eat.

" How is she?"

"She's sleeping."

" Angela, keep an eye on her."

" Cameron, we have some work to do."

" Yes, boss."

We then headed to the dungeon. I was going to have words with the men who had burst into the room earlier. We walked to the dungeon. Gunner, the head guard, opened the door for us.

" Gunner, what cells are the prisoners in?"

He pointed me to the last cell.
