Chapter 6

Alpha Wayne's POV

I accidentally knocked her off the bed while fueled by my rage. I started fighting the men who ran in. Her reaction told me that they were some of the fher fathers warriors. That was why she was so afraid. How did he learn that she was here and alive? I have not even told very many people that she was here. Also, she is my mate. I will have to make an announcement. I have already told Julie, my head housekeeper and cook, that she would be coming home with me. I also had her come to the hospital and look at her to guess what her size in clothing was. 

I knew that she would pick out appropriate clothing for the girl. My sister Angela lives with me. Because she is mated with my beta. After Cameron and some warriors had arrived and carried out the men who had run into the room. She was on the floor, crying in pain. I picked her up and put her on the bed. Raymond ran into the room. I was covered in her blood that came from a wound that had reopened when she fell. Raymond quickly got a syringe and injected it into her IV. I assumed that it was a sedative to put her to sleep so he could sew her up again.

He stitched her wound closed again and then called for a nurse.

" Sally, clean her o[p and get her into another room."

" Also have security posted outside her door until she is ready to leave."

I stepped out to let the nurse change her, and a clean bed was wheeled in as I stepped into the hallway. I was about to sit down when Sally came out into the hallway. 

"Alpha, can you help me move her to the other bed. "

" Yes."

When I walked in, she was naked. 

" Why is she naked?"

" I have not put on the other gown yet."

" I did not want to get blood on it."

That makes since I guess. I tried not to look at her, but that was impossible. She was so beautiful. I picked her up, and my hands were shaking. I did not want her to wake up right in the middle of me helping her move. I did not want her to think that I was trying to abduct her from the hospital. Im the alpha, and Im acting like a scared teenager. I have seen women naked before. Sally moved the new bed close, and I sat her gently on the bed. She was still asleep, thank the goddess. Then we wheeled her out of the room ato the room down the hall. 

I then went to the locker room, showered again, and put on clean clothes. I threw my blood-stained clothes away. There was no need to keep them. I have never had so much blood on me that did not belong to me. The last was covered in so much blood, it was my own when I had just gotten done in battle. I then went to her room. The security guards, even though they knew that I was the alpha, asked for my ID. I thought it amusing, but I did show them my ID. They were trained right.

I pulled the chair up to her and sat down. I then took my cell phone out of my pocket and checked my emails. I had important meetings coming up, and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be pulled away from her. I then thought about getting some paperwork done since she is sleeping. I needed to do something. I felt helpless sitting here just staring at her. This room did not have a TV, so I could not watch anything. I mind-linked Cameron to bring me my laptop. It wasn't long before he knocked on the door.

" Here you go, boss."

" Thank you."

He then left, and I got to work going over income reports. I oversee several business ventures. The reports looked good. I then opened the notebooks containing my private protection business. The people that we helped protect paid cash. I needed to see who has not paid this month. I went over the list, and only two have not paid. I had just finished going through my notebook when she woke up. 

" You are awake."

She looked shocked that I was still there. She looked confused as to who I was. She then spoke.

"What's your name?"

" Im Alpha Wayne."

When I said my name, she looked shocked again. Im not known for being cruel or anything. I accept. people who have been cast out of their packs, and I allow them to join my pack. Some of them have been kicked out of their packs because they disagreed with their alpha, even though werewolf law states that they have to commit a serious crime to be cast out of their packs. I, of course, investigate what they tell me. If I find out what they told me was a lie, then I kick them out of my pack. She then asked me.

"Are you ok?"

She looked worried about me. 

" Yes, baby Im fine."

" My name is Lizzie."

It's been a couple of days since she arrived, and she has already won my heart. She then lay down on the bed and rolled over so that her back was to me. I could see her butt because of the gown. I adjusted the blanket to cover it. She then began to cry. That broke my heart. I knew she was in pain, but I bet why she is crying is because her own father had kicked her out of her pack and tried to kill her. What kind of father does that? When I meet him im going to kill him for hurting her and trying to kill her. I then walked to the head of the bed and sat down on the edge. She scooted over enough for me to lie on my side. I then wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me. I just let her cry; she needed that release.

" Sweetheart its ok."

I had no idea what she was thinking or how she was feeling right now.

" I don't know how you're feeling right now, but Im here for you."
