I had to drop Maya somewhere safe and return to them. These two were the wolves, and they did try to harm Maya. I won't spare them. I won't spare anyone who dares to harm my mate.

"Maya," I muttered.

I noticed her lost in something as we were walking. She looked confused and maybe tired too.

"Mhmm?" She was interrupted from her trance and looked at me.

"Are you okay?" I asked, looking at her.

Day by day, I was getting more concerned about her. She was worrying me a lot.

"I think so," she replied.

"Your headache?" I asked.

She stared at me in confusion. Maybe she didn't know that I figured out that she's suffering from headache.

"What happened?" She questioned.

I smiled.

"I have noticed that you tend to develop a headache whenever you're in trouble or stressed. So that's why I asked," I replied in a soft tone.

"Oh! Yeah, I don't have a headache now. I mean, I had developed it, but after you came, it somehow vanished," she replied with a smile.
