Family Reunion

[Danica’s POV]

My heart hammered in my chest as the man Mason’s older self had referred to as my grandfather continued to examine me. How was this even possible? All those years I was raised by Martha, having no idea about my parents or my past, and now here I was staring into the eyes of someone who was my own flesh and blood.

"That’s enough." Mason hissed, pulling me out of my grandfather’s embrace. "I’m sorry, but could you please explain how you discovered that the Black Forest pack was Danica’s relatives?" He continued, shooting his guarded gaze towards his older self.
