View MoreThe birds chirped around outside her windows, the sun shove above high, casting it's illuminate glow, rey's of sunshine surrounding the place, and the butterflies flitted around, fluttering their pulchritudinous appendages, seeking out for their next flower, finding comfort in their freedom.
Freedom A Pulchritudinous and splendid word. Freedom. Which everyone are entitled to have. Freedom. Something which she wasn't entitled to have. As she was just a mere object, a tool to be used for HIS satisfaction. She, a beautiful butterfly with splintered wings. She was his butterfly, and he had shattered her colors into charcoal black and dark ashes, he had clipped her wings into mere pieces and now she was left with nothing but emptiness and the dark wickedness surrounding her. Her eyes, which were once full of life, were dead and lifeless, counting days for her own death each passing second, trying to find her tranquility , solace and serendipity in death itself. Life was so hard. Life is so hard. And here she is, resilient as ever. It's been years, she has forgotten how warm human touch actually felt like. Aarunya looked outside the window of the dark room , finding a little peace at the rays of sun coming inside. Her body twinged in pain from the torture she suffered last night, again. In her heart she just mumbled two little words.. "Nothing's new." She mumbled, with her eyes dead and her shattered soul from the core. One by one, the servants entered, engaging in their daily tasks, cleaning her blood stains from the marble floor and she watched emotionless, her own crimson red blood being wiped out clean oof the floor, of the table, of the balcony, of each place he had taken her body, like the monster he is. Of all the places she was raped, as always. As always. Aarunya mumbled. Arunya still Remembered the past, her parents, her happiness , her cheerful nature and those soft smiles, they were all hers, until he came and stole everything, taking every single shred of her dignity, shattering her soul into pieces and reducing her into a now lifelessz hollow amd a broken doll which he had reduced her into. Doll. His doll. His little plaything. Trayaksh Rajput's Doll. A broken butterfly & His most prized possession. As this was his caliginous Abyss And she was his prisioner, bound to his sins and shadows of her own cruel and vicious past. For the World She was his wife, Mrs. Rajput. The daughter In law of one of the most influential and prestigious family in India, for the world She was living a blissful life, a world overflowing with delirium, diamonds and devoid of agony. But her reality was darkest than the night of eclipse. Only those inside the Rajput's estate knew the contrasting reality between dreams and nightmares. Arunya was in fact a bird, caged in a golden cage, trapped in a dark web of lies and deception, agony and Trayaksh. She was broken, enslaved, beaten and Raped. With his name carved in her left wrist, her fate was sealed nine years back. At the mere age of eighteen, she was given as a slave to him, to a man seven years her senior, a ruthless man, the heartless beast who finds his own contentment in her sadness, who finds pleasure in her pain, who laughs when she cries, who loves her broken tears, infact her each sob feels like a melodious music to his ears. As she has been nothing but a pawn in the game of his venomous vengeance. Like a serpent, he slowly waited everyday and engulfed her into his poisonous mouth, eating away everything she ever held precious. Arunya recalled the memory of the night when he had reminded her of their lethal reality. "Our story isn't a fairytale. It is a dark fantasy written in the ink of Blood, tragedy and vengeance." Those words, they have been imprinted on her soul and she knows very well that she's never going to get her wings back. Arunya looked outside through the lavish window, the birds chirping and singing in their own melody without any care of the world, without any care if any predator would come and ruin them forever. The innocent birds, just like how she was once. Once.... She was once an Aliferous bird, but that time would never come back twice. For she was a decorative showpiece in the World of Rajputs and a plaything for Trayaksh. Trayaksh, Arunaya's predator, her sinner with poison running down his veins, his cunning nature and manipulation are his weapons which he carries proudly without batting any eyelashes, his mesmerizing onyx eyes which are as Sinister as a web of venomous spider and she's the butterfly trapped in his deceptions and lies. Arunya despised Trayaksh from her core, the lothe for him was hanging free inside her blood, the disgust of his filthy touches, the crude remarks he makes, the way his fingers touch her face, darkly, brutally, venomously. Never in her twenty seven years of life had Arunya ever wished for someone to be dead as much as she wished it for him. For he was a monster and she sure wasn't a saint either.. Arunya believed in Karma and she always knew one day it would hit Trayaksh so hard that his ego and pride would crumble into pieces and she would revel in his ruin without any mercy that she was sure of. "Even Monsters do deserve love but rapists don't". Arunya Whispered, her amber eyes still held the same intensity which they had all those nine years ago and the determination flared again, to escape from the clutches of the deadly sinner of her personal hell Called Trayaksh Rajput and one day she would succeed, no matter what it takes. Blood, devotion, pain or poison. The freedom would be hers And the Karma would be his Aarunya gazed at her disheveled appearance in the mirror. From her messy black hairs to those bloodshot red amber eyes, cracked bleeding lips, her once rosy cheeks had already succumbed to slight bones, and the red marks etched into her white creamy skin were already speaking of volumes of the way she had been treated again by the dog known as her husband last night. Aarunya kept staring at her own ruined appearance without even flinching a bit, nlw it was not something new for her to witness, infact now she was habitual of walking into knives and slipping into a floor covered in crimson red blood of her own. She was just a shell of her former self and nothing more. The only similarity that the once eighteen year old Aarunya and the present twenty five years old Aarunya had, was her determination to never accept defeat, a tender heart and the hope flickering time to time in her amber eyes to touch the freedom which was stolen and snatched from her, years ago. Arunya hissed as the cool sensation of the soothing balm touched over her already bruised arm. "Does it hurt?" The maid Asked, putting ointment on Aarunya's brusies. "Everything hurts. Being alive does too" Arunya chuckled sadly. It indeed hurts This life These invisible shackles And this shattered heart which bleeds everyday. She snapped out of her reverie,. suddenly noticing the panicked state of some maids around her. Aarunya raised her brow at the woman in front of her, who was already gasping for breath as if she had the most ominous and inauspicious news to speak. "Madame, the master had an accident" The woman spoke not knowing how her master's wife would react, but to her surprise Aarunya's lips curled into a bright smile. Her bloodshot eyes gleamed of hope and happiness as Aarunya's laughter echoed in the whole bed chamber. "Has madame perhaps gone crazy from trauma?" The woman who's the new maid Whispered in disbelief to another servant who shook her head and sighed at her to zip up her mouth. "What's new?" Aarunya chuckled the same words softly. "Every dog dies one day. A Today's his day." Aarunya giggled like a child who has found her favourite candy to eat. Few servants gasped speechless while the other empathized with her. After all which woman in her sane mind would ever wish for such a monster to live? To their surprise Aarunya even showerd and wore a red saree like a newly wedded bride that too without any nuptial chain or vermillion. She was more eager to be a widow than anyone ever would and she reveled in the feeling, her heart hammering with happiness, the feeling which she thought she had lost years back. "Did your master died yet?" She mocked Trayaksh's most loyal servant as the man looked at her almost emotionless. Stepping near the drawer, She inched forward, taking a heart shaped pendant in her hands, as she traced it with her delicate fingers Affectionately. The picture of a divine krishna and radha ji shone under the transparent glass. Aarunya smiled, her god has served her justice and there's nothing a mere devil like Trayaksh would do now. His end was near and she knew it. But why did her krishna ji give him such a sudden death? Do a sinner deserve such easy death? Does he even deserve such tranquility huhhh? But she would accept it as it's chosen by her divine god itself. The one she believed in since she knew the meaning of bhakti and devotion. "Farewell not so dear Husband. May you rot in the deepest pits of hell" Aarunya Whisperd as a happy tear fell off her amber eyes. It was finally coming to an end. The despair, the grief , the agony and her affliction. It'll end. Finally. Only if she knew that this was nothing but her one wishful thinking.. Only if... 。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━。☆✼★The wind blew gently through the Rajput estate, yet something felt off.Aarunya sat in the study room, Aranya asleep in his pram beside her. She unfolded the note she’d found tucked inside the spine of a book in Trayaksh’s library. She had no idea who this person was and why they were offering help to her.Aarunya was suspicious but she still decided to play along, so that she could unwrap the mystery behind this person.Aarunya opened the note "If you truly want to know the truth of the Rajputs, go to the Old Rajput Mansion in Delhi. The walls there have secrets dug up inside them. The old mansion is the place where it all began.."- Your well-wisher.Her pulse quickened at that moment.Who was this person? And what would this person even achieve from all of this? One thing was clear. Whoever this person was, they knew things which Gargi was hiding. And Aarunya was ready to uncover it.The Old Rajput Mansion…She folded the note slowly and looked toward Aranya with a gentle smile.
The soft clink of porcelain echoed in the Rajput dining hall as the morning sun filtered through the embroidered silk curtains, painting golden patterns across the marble floors, giving a dreamy look to the whole mansion. It was a beautiful morning. But not all beautiful things were tolerant. At least not for Aarunya, especially when she looked at the face of her sinner everyday. Aarunya sat at the head of the table, regal in her mermaid strapped silk ivory dress. Her expression was calm, almost too calm like a serene lake that hid the ruins of a storm beneath its shiny surface.Trayaksh was beside her, gently feeding bits of mashed banana to their son Aranya. The sight would make anyone fall for the gentle looking man.Except Aarunya. For, she had already seen the monster behind his gentle smile. She watched them with a smile, but behind her eyes lived storms, ready to ruin, ready to destroy.“Aranya’s becoming more cute like you every day,” Trayaksh whispered with a soft smile.Sh
The night was painted in shadows as Aarunya stood at the balcony of her room, her eyes fixed on the moon above. She wasn't praying. She wasn’t admiring the moon either. She was calculating, planning, plotting her revenge. Each day brought her closer to her goal. Each night sharpened her resolve to destroy the people who wronged her.The words written in the letter from the anonymous sender still played inside her mind. She wondered if there were other dark shadows lurking around the haunted Rajput estate. She wondered what if Trayaksh wasn’t the only monster in the Rajput family. Her fingers closed into a fist, nails digging into her palm and the air behind her shifted to something more colder. She didn’t turn around. She already knew who it was.“Did you get it?” she asked, her voice filled with authority only a queen gets to speak with.“Yes,” said the voice. The same staff member she had recruited earlier. The one loyal to her, not by heart but by fear.Fear, a word enough to make
Sunlight crept into the room like a thief, golden and gentle, too gentle for the war that raged beneath Aarunya's heart.Aarunya blinked slowly, her lashes heavy with sleep she didn’t even remember falling into. She just fell asleep the previous night after tucking Arabya to his crib. The scent of jasmine still lingered on the bedsheets. A breeze passed through the half-open balcony door. And then came the soft knock. It was Trayaksh. He entered with a smile so soft, it could’ve melted any heart, if only it hadn’t once been used to mock her after everytime she was raped in the past.“Good morning, Ocean,” he said, his voice deep and warm, like a song he’d never known how to sing before. A song he was learning only for her.For Aarunya.Aarunya cringed from his voice but she covered her expressions. She sat up slowly, letting the silk bedsheet slip from her shoulder gently.“Good morning,” she replied, her voice honeyed soft.“I made you breakfast,” he beamed, placing the tray on her
The morning air was colder despite the summer sun. A strange stillness hung over the Rajput estate, it was not peaceful but the eerie calm before a huge storm. Aarunya adjusted the soft blanket over Aranya and walked out of the nursery, her mind already racing through her next plan. The letter from last night still haunted her not because of any fear, but because of its truth. There were secrets buried in the Rajput family. She was going to find them. And she was going to use them against the Rajputs. As she walked through the hallway, her footsteps light yet firm, a sudden sound made her pause in her tracks. “Bhabhi,” a soft voice called from behind. It was Taranya. Aarunya turned around, masking her wariness with a serene and soft smile. “Hmm?” Taranya stood with folded arms, her eyes sharp as if she was suspecting things. “Why did Chef Narayan leave?” she asked quietly. “And why are you changing all the staff suddenly?” Aarunya’s smile didn’t falter, but her fingers curle
A huge storm arrived making the trees swing, flowers sway and dark clouds gather around the Rajput estate. It rained heavily the whole night. The morning rays of sun finally passed through the curtains indicating that the storm had passed, but the silence it left behind was far more dangerous.Aarunya stood by the window of her room in the Rajput estate, her eyes resting on the swaying trees outside. The early morning sunlight painted golden patterns on the marble floor, but her mind was elsewhere, trapped in memories, in pain, and in plans she made to ruin, to destroy her destroyers.Aranya slept peacefully on the bed behind her, wrapped in the soft folds of a soft handmade quilt. His tiny fingers twitched in sweet dreams.A soft smile tugged at Aarunya's lips as she looked at her small baby bird sleeping peacefully. “Just some more time, my sweet angel. Then mommy will take her Aranya away from this hell of a place.” She whispered and pressed a soft kiss on the top of Aranya’s head
