IntroductionsIT WOULD be a lie if Selene wouldn’t admit that she felt anxious when she saw Lucas outside her room with the most serious face he ever wore since the two of them met. She could clearly recall having a great time on bed, reading the second part of her favorite book which she never got the chance to read when she was still staying in Westmount Kingdom, applauding the power of royalties, when she heard a knock at her door.

CHAPTER 16.5MenaceANG sabi sa kanya nina Lucas, mayroong dahilan kung bakit si Kontesa Hussaine ang piniling etiquette teacher ni Selene. Apparently, the King wanted to use her as a bait to lure out Countess Hussaine to admitting that she’s being treacherous against the royal family. After all, there had been several rumors whereas the Countess talked shit about the royal family—to which no one really paid attention to but the people who had always been criticizing the Sutcliffe family.As far as Selene has heard, Countess Hussaine was also the cause of several false allegations toward the Sutcliffe family. Their goal was to remove Lucas’ rights as the Crown Prince and find a more ‘suitable’ heir for the throne. Then, Selene also realized that the Hussaine family is a relative of the Sutcliffes—albeit far, they have rights on the throne, thus; the reason why they began attacking Lucas especially during his absence, wh

CHAPTER 17.1 Uninvited Guest “YOU’RE doing great, Princess Selene! That’s the correct stance if you wanted to block an attack from the enemy and take the momentum to jab them on the side so that you could steal their attention,” Chief Knight Lyte complimented her as the lady clapped her hands, obviously satisfied with Selene’s performance. Ayaw mang aminin ni Selene pero noong matapos niyang i-perform ang stance na itinuro sa kanya at mag-ayos siya ng tayo, kinikilig siya sa papuring natanggap. The fact that she’s being complimented by the woman she looks up to felt heavenly, and if she could record this; she’d play her voice everyday through her phone! Parang mas malaki pang achievement ang papuri ni Chief Knight Lyte kaysa sa matanggap ang diploma niya sa kolehiyo! “Ma—Maraming salamat po!” aniya bagamat naghahabol ng hininga’t nagpupunas ng pawis.

CHAPTER 17.2 Stress and Burdens PATUNGO na noon si Selene sa klase niya sa etiquette nang mapansin na nagkukumahog mag-ayos at maglinis ng palasyo ang mga kasambahay. Nagtataka siyang nagmasid sa paligid habang naglalakad sila sa kahabaan ng pasilyo ni Miss Sephare, inaalala niya rin ang mga nangyari kaninang bigla na lamang sumulpot mula sa kung saan si Prinsesa Luan. Saktong pagkatapos din ng training nila kasama si Chief Knight Lyte.“Miss Sephare, ba’t nagkukumahog lahat ng kasambahay?” tanong ni Selene habang minamasdan ang mga kasambahay.Bagamat abala ang mga ito sa ginagawa, lumilingon pa rin sila’t binabati siya.
