Kabanata 49: Mirror
3RD PERSON POV
Shiro couldn’t move for a moment when she found herself inside of someone’s memory for the third time. But at this point, her vision wasn’t vague anymore. She could clearly see everything and she could touch the things that surrounded her as if all of her senses were working perfectly.
But just like before, she wondered. Where am I now? The location she saw when she walked up is unfamiliar to her. And the last memory she knew was that she was walking down the dim street while holding the box that Old Cleo gave to her.
Shiro stood up from the bed on which she was lying. She felt the soft silk that covered her body, and the thick blanket glided over her skin and fell on the floor. She covered her body when she felt the cold wind touch her skin when the blanket was removed. "What a pain," she muttered as she felt her body aching. "What is this place?" she asked and looked around.
