The morning light filtered gently through the curtains of the Silent Hill house, brushing across Silver Hale’s silver hair and illuminating the faint threads of Luna energy that pulsed in her chest. The events of the Blood Rites and the newcomer Elara’s arrival still hummed in her mind, but now it was time to act. She could no longer afford hesitation—the bond with Kyrian, Kael, and Kairo pulsed stronger with each passing day, and the threads within her demanded attention, discipline, and understanding.

“Elara,” Silver said, turning toward the newcomer, who was already unpacking small pouches of tools and implements designed for power training. “Are you ready?”

Elara’s smile was bright, steady, and calm, the kind of warmth that reassured even the most cautious. “Always,” she replied. “We’ll start small today, focus on control and awareness. Once you’ve mastered that, we can expand.”

Kyrian, standing slightly apart with arms folded, observed quietly. His sharp golden eyes never left Silver, but there was an undercurrent of suspicion that he couldn’t hide. He had watched her interactions with Elara, the laughter, the easy familiarity, and a small part of him bristled. There was something in this woman—too smooth, too confident, too perfectly accommodating. Kyrian had spent decades reading intentions and lies, and this girl gave him pause.

“Silver requested her,” Kael murmured softly to Kyrian, stepping closer but still keeping an appropriate distance. His amber eyes flickered with curiosity. “We honor her request, yes?”

Kyrian’s jaw tightened. “Yes. But I watch closely.” His gaze shifted to Elara, and though he did not speak directly, every calculated movement of his body suggested vigilance. “Always.”

Meanwhile, Silver’s focus was elsewhere. She concentrated on the pulsing threads of energy, feeling them vibrate as her Alphas’ bonds intertwined with hers. With each breath, she could sense Kael’s passionate fire, Kairo’s calm steadiness, and Kyrian’s sharp, cold awareness merging into one powerful force within her. The sensation was overwhelming, intoxicating, and grounding all at once.

Elara knelt beside her, placing her hands gently near Silver’s shoulders. “Feel the rhythm,” she instructed softly. “Do not fight it. Let the bond guide you, but also maintain your control. It is power, not possession, that you must command.”

Silver closed her eyes. The threads glimmered, luminous and alive beneath her skin. She followed Elara’s guidance, allowing the energy to flow through her without losing herself. Slowly, cautiously, she extended her awareness outward, sensing the edges of the house, the surrounding trees, and even the faint shifts of the Alphas’ emotions.

Kyrian stepped closer, a low hum of tension in the room. “Do not allow her influence to dominate you,” he warned quietly. “Be mindful. Observation first, trust later.”

Kael snorted, rolling his shoulders as he stepped beside Kyrian. “She trusts Elara, and I trust her judgment. Relax a little, Kyrian. She’s learning, not being attacked.”

Kairo, standing a respectful distance away, offered a calm nod. His amber-gold gaze lingered on Silver, warm but unwavering. “Watch, don’t interfere. Let her grow naturally. Our bond will protect her.”

Silver opened her eyes again, meeting Kairo’s steady gaze, and drew strength from it. The threads pulsed brighter, a shared heartbeat among them. Even Kyrian felt it, the unmistakable power of the bond reinforcing their presence around Silver.

Elara guided Silver through the first exercises: controlling the pulse of her energy, amplifying her perception without overwhelming herself, and directing small flickers of Luna power outward in precise bursts. Silver’s confidence grew with each successful attempt, and she began to feel the intoxicating thrill of mastery.

Unbeknownst to them, far beyond the lands of Silent Hill, the Veiled Ones watched. Their orb glimmered in the dim chamber of ancient stone, the image of Silver training flickering like silver fire across its surface.

“One day,” one whispered, “she will not resist. Her power, bound to three Alphas… it will be ours to manipulate.”

Another tilted its head, observing the threads pulsing between Silver and the Alphas. “The bond strengthens faster than we anticipated. Her awareness grows, and with it, our leverage over her.”

The third Veiled One’s fingers brushed the surface of the orb. “Send no agent yet. Let her trust build. Let her bond deepen. Tomorrow, the path becomes clear.”

Back in the house, Silver paused mid-motion, her hands hovering over a small flame she had conjured with Elara’s guidance. The threads of energy connecting her to Kyrian, Kael, and Kairo pulsed in harmony, and she felt herself becoming one with her power in a way she had never experienced before.

Kyrian’s eyes narrowed slightly, noting the faint silver shimmer that now radiated more boldly from Silver. “Careful,” he murmured. “Each surge of power attracts attention. We do not know what’s near or watching.”

Kael grinned lightly, stepping closer to support her physically if needed. “She’s fine. She knows what she’s doing.”

Kairo’s calm voice added, “But vigilance is always necessary. Never underestimate the threads that connect us.”

Silver exhaled slowly and looked at Elara. “Thank you,” she whispered. “I couldn’t have asked for a better guide.”

Elara smiled softly, her own eyes glinting with secrets she did not reveal. “This is only the beginning,” she said. “You have strength in you, Silver Hale. Your Alphas will protect you, but only you can learn to control it fully. Tomorrow… everything changes.”

The room fell into a quiet rhythm once more. The bond, the threads, and the Alphas’ steady presence created a cocoon of strength around Silver, yet the shadow of unseen eyes lingered at the edges of her awareness.

Kyrian finally spoke, breaking the silence. “I will watch her,” he said, voice calm but firm. “And so will we all. Elara, be aware—the smallest slip could unravel what she is becoming.”

Elara inclined her head. “I understand.”

Silver felt a shiver of anticipation and power run through her. The bond was growing stronger, undeniable, and intoxicating. Yet beneath it all, a small seed of unease took root—she knew that the Veiled Ones’ gaze had not left her, and the threads of trust she was weaving now would determine her fate tomorrow.

And though she did not yet see the danger, Silver Hale felt it pulse faintly at the edges of her awareness, just beyond the silver threads that bound her and her three Alphas together

The forest lay quiet, almost unnaturally so. Moonlight filtered through the dense canopy, silver threads weaving across the moss-covered ground, illuminating the path only enough to show the two figures moving cautiously between the trees. Maris’s sharp eyes glinted with anger, her lips pressed into a thin line, while Dax followed silently, shoulders tense, amber eyes scanning every shadow as if the trees themselves were spies.“This is unacceptable,” Maris hissed, stopping abruptly. Her hands clenched into fists. “Silver Hale… a pack reject, and now the Moon itself favors her? Three Alphas bowing to her? It’s ridiculous.”Dax’s jaw tightened, his normally measured demeanor strained with barely contained fury. “We knew this day would come, Maris. We’ve watched her grow, yes, but I didn’t think… not this fast. Not so completely. The pack already whispers about her power. Soon, it’ll be beyond anything we can influence.”Maris’s laughter was low, bitter. “Influence? Ha! She’s not ours t

Silver Hale felt it the moment the room fell quiet. The conversation between Kael and Cairo had faded into the background, their voices blending with the gentle noise of the pack waking outside. Morning light poured through the windows of the Silent Hill house, painting long streaks of gold across the wooden floor.Yet something wasn’t right.Silver stilled where she stood near the window. The sensation returned.A prickle at the back of her neck.Like eyes.Watching.Her fingers tightened slightly against the windowsill. The bond inside her chest pulsed once—slow and deep. Then again.Kyrian noticed first. He always did.His sharp gaze moved to her immediately.“What is it?” he asked.Silver turned slightly, hesitating.“I… don’t know,” she admitted.Kael pushed himself off the chair he had been lounging in and crossed the room toward her. His movements were relaxed, but Silver knew him well enough already to recognize the tension hiding beneath that casual stride.“You felt somethin

The night had eventually surrendered to morning, but Silver Hale barely noticed the moment sleep took her.The last thing she remembered from the night before was warmth—heat surrounding her from three different directions, the teasing closeness of Kyrian, Kael, and Cairo lingering in the air like electricity. The bond between them had pulsed steadily, slow and powerful, like the beat of a distant drum echoing through her chest. Now morning light filtered softly through the tall windows.Silver stirred. For a moment she didn’t open her eyes. She simply lay there, feeling it.The bond.It was still there—stronger than before. Not just a faint awareness anymore, but a steady rhythm flowing through her body. It moved through her veins like silver light, connecting her to the three Alphas in a way that was impossible to ignore. She inhaled slowly. And immediately felt them.Kael’s presence was the first thing her senses caught. The council had finally ended, leaving a trail of exhaustion and tension in its wake. Silver Hale stepped into the quiet of the Moon Shadow house, the soft glow of the hearth casting warm light across her silver hair. Her heartbeat still thrummed with the echo of the Alpha Council, but now it was no longer fear or anticipation—it was desire, electric and unrelenting, a pull she could no longer ignore. Kairo lingered nearby, his calm presence like a steadying current. He didn’t need to speak; Silver could feel his gaze on her, warm and intense, a quiet promise that he was hers. Kael, on the other hand, hovered close enough that every brush of his arm sent shivers racing through her body. He was impatient, a storm of passion coiled at his side, daring her to notice him. Kyrian remained slightly apart, cold and calculating, yet the glint in his eyes betrayed the same pull she felt—a controlled, dangerous desire, simmering beneath the surface. Silver swallowed hard, aware of the magnet

The council chamber of Silent Hill Pack had been built to command respect.Thick stone walls curved around the circular room, each block carved with ancient wolf sigils that glowed faintly beneath the torchlight. The air carried the scent of pinewood smoke and wolf musk, a reminder that this place had been the center of pack authority for generations.Silver stood just inside the entrance, trying not to show how out of place she felt.Six elders sat around the heavy wooden council table.
