"I warned you it would be a bad idea, right?" Atlas paced up and down the room, losing the control he never kept in check.

I groaned. This felt like the thousandth time we had had this conversation in a week, and Tristan always brought it up whenever a new development concerning the Silver mystic pack came up.

Mystic Pack. The name left a bitter taste in my mouth. Three years ago, they asked for help to stop an invasion, and we agreed on one condition. We got the silver lake, but it no longer looked so easy.
