CHAPTER SEVEN

 Elena and June spent the afternoon together. They had the same classes and June kept on holding her so tight like she was scared she'd runaway.

June might have noticed, Elena barely spoke. She made sure they didn't dive into any personal question. She didn't want to find herself keeping a distance from her again. She did all the random talking while she just chipped in. 

Elena missed her.

"Did I tell you about me and Daniel?"

"Ayyyy," she screamed, pulling her closer. "Spill girl."

Elena smiled. She told her how she saw him and ended up talking for hours.

"You're cute," she cooed. "Just wait, he'll be asking you on a date soon."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." 

She tickled her, standing up. "I'll get us something to eat."
