Just make sure she is safe

Edward is worried as he kept getting messages about his brother's violence towards their father.

He might have to come back home without finishing his program.

Maybe he is going to join the next batch.

He too, packed his things, and is about to leave, when he decided to pause, and think about it again.

Just one woman have been able to destroy his family so much, within the space of some hours.

He has tried reaching his brother many times, but he doesn't seem to be Interested in taking his call.

He decided to call his father before taking the move to leave the United kingdom, for the United States.

Mr Charles, picked his call, on the first ring.

"How is mother?

He tried to sound calm, even though he could see what is happening, in his family, just with the news.

"She is responding to treatment, soon she should be better".

He said.

Though he knows why he is calling, for there is no way, he can claim, that he is unaware of the things that are happening.

"How is Stan?

He asked.

Maybe he doesn't know how to start to ask the questions, he has in stock for him.

He knows that, he is the last person, to ask about Stan.

Even though he is his son, he has always been at logger head with him.

" He is fine.

He left a while ago, I don't know where he is right now".

"I will be coming home tomorrow".

He said, and it seem as though, they were both told to stay quiet.

Charles doesn't know, if he should be happy, that he wants to be back home, and leave his program that he is almost done with.

Though he needs him around.

He is more calculative and reasonable to be with, than Stan, but it seem like too much sacrifice, for him to leave his program, just to come, and be with them.

"I don't think that will be necessary.

If I am correct, you should be through with your program by next month, what is the hurry for?

He asked, as if he doesn't know the reason he wants to come back.

"I don't like what is happening, and we all need to put a stop to it".

Just like before, there was a long pause between them, before he added.

You know you are the cause of all this right?

He asked, as if starting a fire, that seem to be at its peak already all over again.

"You need not remind me, I know, and I don't want to make promises, even though it will be hard for me, to allow my blood grow outside my home, I will do it, for the family I know now".

It was then, that Edward got the reason, this particular incidence raised greater dust, than the others.

"Are you saying, you got her pregnant?

He asked in shock.

Charles nodded his head, as to say yes, forgetting that he is not close to him, that he would see his non verbal response.

Are you saying that we have a sibling somewhere?

He asked again, this time, Charles could only clear his throat, and is about to answer, but he stopped him.

"You are right.

Coming back to the house is not necessary.

You deserve all you are getting there, and I will leave Stan, to deal with you, as he pleases".

He says, and ended the call.

Charles didn't get the chance to reply him.

He wanted to tell him, that he has cut all ties with Megan, and that he is willing to do things differently.

He wanted to tell him, how sorry he is, for the things he has done in the past years, but still, that won't make it better.

He tried to reach Megan to pay her off, but her number was not going, but since he still have an account to reach out to her, he sent her money.

She had tried to reach him.

He saw that call, but didn't take the call.

He was scared, as he doesn't know what to say to her.

He is also worried that, if he hears her voice, he may not be able to do what he had planned that he would do.

It hasn't been easy for him to have planned to move on, so hearing her voice, might make him change his mind.

The fact that she didn't call back is good for him.

His thought was interrupted when Stanley walked back in.

For the first time since he has known him, he wore a smile.

"I know where your girlfriend is, I have a lead, I am going to deal with her, before I deal with you".

He says, and Charles could only swallow hard.

"Please Stan, she haven't done anything to you, just allow her".

He laughed out, hysterically, then his face changed, as though he isn't the one that had been laughing a while ago.

"I know she didn't do anything to me.

But I have realised that, hurting her will hurt you, so I am going to hurt her, so that you can be hurt.

You think having guards around you, will stop me, from hurting you?

If that is what you think, you should better think again.

All I am waiting for, is for any negative news from the doctor, so that I can deal with you,  the way I please".

Charles wasn't even worried, about his threat towards him, he is more worried about Megan.

"You can deal with me, as you please, but please, just allow her, son".

"Hold it there.

I am not your son, so don't call me your son.

All I just need is for my men to get to her, so that I can deal with her, like a commoner that she is, so that in her next life, when she hears my name, she will shiver, and not toy with me".

Charles was about to get up from his seat, to get to him, when his wife sneeze.

She has been in coma since the accident, and there have been no reaction from her, until now.

It stopped the both of them, as they glared at her.

She sneezed again, and this time, Stanley and his father, tried to get to her.

Stan pushed his father out of the way, and he obeyed.

Charles took the opportunity to give his guards order to look for Megan, and make sure, she is safe.

"Just make sure, she is safe".

was the command they got from him, before they left.
