Reins Eiser

I walked into the mansion to find the woman already exploring every inch of it.

She truly was a wild cat in every sense of the phrase.

“Seriously? I’m going to stay here?” she asked as she approached me, limping slightly on her injured leg.

“Yes. Only temporarily.”

Because I had no intention of returning to this mansion either, not until tomorrow night’s party, when I’d be forced to face those people again.

“I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t temporary,” she said, stepping in front of me. “I thought your penthouse was already amazing, but this mansion is absolutely insane.”

I stopped and looked at her, tilting my head before giving her a faint smile.

“Trust me, you wouldn’t last here even if you had no choice. My penthouse is much better.”

I wasn’t lying.

Bella would never be comfortable here. Her presence alone would probably disturb the peace of quite a few people.

Especially when she would be standing beside me at the party.

No, I didn’t feel guilty for using the unfortunate woman.

Consider it fair compensation for saving her life.

“Listen.” I grabbed Bella’s hand.

She looked up at me.

“Don’t wander too far, or you…”

My words died in my throat when I noticed someone approaching.

Instinctively, I turned around.

“Carron.”

My eyes narrowed.

“What are you doing here?”

Carren, my mother’s personal assistant, was already standing there.

What a surprise.

I had assumed this mansion wouldn’t receive any visitors until tomorrow evening. Those gate guards were getting far too careless.

Carren’s trademark smile appeared.

“How have you been, Mr. Eiser?” She greeted me politely.

I clenched my jaw.

Doing my best to keep my expression calm.

Mother was truly something else.

She had already predicted that I would arrive a day before the party and had sent the one personal assistant I disliked the most.

I immediately pulled Bella into my arms.

Tightly.

My hand settled possessively on her waist.

“I’m doing very well,” I replied with a crooked smile. “You should meet my girlfriend, Carren.”

I felt Bella’s body tense the moment I said the word girlfriend.

She quickly looked up at me, her brows furrowing deeply.

Her expression made it painfully clear that she didn’t approve.

Trust me, I didn’t approve of this either. But instead of letting her go, I pulled her even closer.

Damn it.

My hand rested against her slender waist, and something inside me stirred unexpectedly.

Carren merely smiled at us.

“Does Madam know about this?” he asked calmly, without showing any particular reaction.

I clicked my tongue and flashed him a mocking grin.

“You can tell her for me, Carren.”

I fixed him with a sharp look.

“Just like you always do.”

Carren’s lips pressed into a thin line.

She didn’t respond.

Because he knew exactly what I meant, and it wasn’t something he wanted to hear.

“In that case, I’ll take my leave. I only came to welcome you, Mr. Eiser.”

She gave a polite nod.

“Welcome back to your little home.”

After saying that, Carren turned and walked away.

His words did nothing to please me.

This mansion had once been my childhood home.

Now, it was nothing more than an empty building filled with memories.

I hated coming back here.

I instinctively stomped my foot and glared at Eiser.

“Girlfriend?” I scoffed, placing my hand on my hips.

Eiser chuckled softly. “Why? Got a problem with that?”

I frowned. “Of course I do. Since when did I ever have a mafia boss for a boyfriend?” I shot back.

He seemed offended the moment I called him a mafia boss. I instinctively stepped back, trying to keep my distance. My hands dropped to my sides.

“Never say that word again! Like it or not, you belong to me now. So, behave.”

Just like that, Eiser walked away, leaving me frozen in place.

Behave?

He actually expected me to obey him.

Ugh, this was unbelievably irritating.

If this weren’t a mission, I would never have agreed to any of this. But could this even be called a mission anymore? He still hadn’t managed to contact Danny.

Oh God!

I had completely forgotten that I was supposed to contact Danny myself. I let out a heavy sigh. How was I supposed to call him when I didn’t even have a phone?

As my eyes swept around the room, I realized something I hadn’t noticed before.

There wasn’t a single telephone in sight.

Damn.

A mansion this luxurious, yet not one telephone. They probably only used personal devices and deliberately chose not to install landlines.

Oh God…

I rubbed my face in frustration. I’d already cursed a dozen times in my head. At this rate, I had no choice but to go along with Eiser.

And being obedient was definitely not who I was.

I clenched my fist and punched the air, only for a man to suddenly appear and catch my hand.

“Whoa, easy there, beautiful. You almost punched me,” he said with a sweet smile.

I quickly pulled my hand away.

“Who are you?” I asked warily.

The man flashed another charming smile, the dimples on his cheeks becoming more obvious as he leaned closer.

“I should be asking you that. Who brought you here? It couldn’t have been Reins. You must be Bastian’s new girl, huh?” he said, winking at me.

New girl?

And who the hell was Bastian?

Actually, that didn’t matter. This guy was unbelievably rude. Who was he?

“I’m here with Reins Eiser,” I answered.

The man immediately straightened up.

“What?”

He looked genuinely shocked.

“No way. There’s no way you’re with Reins. Since when has Reins ever had a woman?”

I wrinkled my nose.

“Does that really matter right now?” I replied.

“Of course it matters. Are you sure you came with Reins and not Bastian?” he asked again.

I had no idea how many more times I had to explain myself. Besides, why should I explain anything to someone I didn’t even know?

“Whatever. I’d rather know who this rude and childish man standing in front of me is.”

My eyes scanned him from head to toe.

He chuckled softly before putting on another sweet smile.

“I’m Sam.”

“Sam?” I repeated.

“Sam Eiser.”

Oh my goodness.

Sam Eiser?

Then he was part of the Eiser family. A brother? A cousin?

Dear God, how could I overlook information like this? I hadn’t realized that capturing Reins Eiser meant dealing directly with his entire family.

But then again…

Maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.

  • Catch me, Mr. Eiser   Chapter #5

ZARA LANGI thought Eiser wasn’t as terrifying as I’d imagined. Have the rumors about him been exaggerated? The ruthless, merciless mafia boss everyone talked about was nowhere to be seen. Instead, all I saw was a lonely man. I was still sitting at the dining table, enjoying my breakfast. It had been almost a week since I arrived here. Nothing particularly special had happened, except that Eiser had been taking care of me. Not directly, of course, but he was kind enough not to hurt me cruelly. A few hours ago, he received a phone call from someone. Whatever it was, the relaxed expression on his face had instantly turned tense. Maybe it was just my imagination. Who knew?“You. Come with me. Now,” he ordered.“Where?”“You’ll find out when we get there.”My body still ached, yet he was telling me to follow him. Was this some new form of torture? If it was, then I take back everything I said about him not being cruel. He didn’t even look at me. He simply expected me to follow. I

  • Catch me, Mr. Eiser   Chapter #4

ZARA LANGI didn’t know whether the image of Reins Eiser I saw that night was real… or just a hallucination. But one thing was certain, my whole body ached. I tried to open my eyes, and instantly a sharp pain throbbed through my head. “Argh…” I groaned, holding back the pain. My right hand reflexively reached up to my head, only then did I realize there was an IV line attached to it. I looked around slowly. “Where… am I?” I murmured. As I tried to sit up, I suddenly noticed a man beside me, sleeping face down. Part of his bare back was visible. My eyes widened instantly. My mind snapped fully awake. A man? Why is there a man next to me? And he’s… sleeping here? With me? My thoughts spiraled, until he suddenly turned over. My eyes widened completely. My breath caught in my throat. “EISER?” I shouted the moment I recognized his face. Eiser… was sleeping next to me. Why?What happened?I didn’t understand anything. “Engh…” he groaned, clearly disturbed by my voice. His body

  • Catch me, Mr. Eiser   Chapter #3

ZARA LANGMaybe I should have listened to Danny and been more careful. Because my opponent now is Reins Eiser. I started to feel uneasy. My heart grew restless when Eiser’s car stopped right in front of Noirvelle Hotel. My heartbeat went wild as he stepped out of the car. He turned toward me and extended his hand. His face was cold, completely expressionless, making me even more nervous. I took a deep breath before finally accepting his hand and stepping out of the car. He wrapped his arm tightly around my waist and whispered, “I like it rough. So prepare yourself.” His deep voice made me freeze instantly. Do I really have to go this far?Satisfy Eiser… just for a mission? A storm brewed inside me. Now, I was already in the room. Sitting on the hotel bed, waiting for him. He was still in the bathroom, leaving me alone with my anxious thoughts. I didn’t expect to be brought to a hotel tonight. Even though I had anticipated this… I was still nervous. A deep sense of regret crep

Zara LangI didn't know why his expression suddenly turned so cold and cynical.I had only placed my hand on his thigh. That was all.So why did he have to get this angry? It was as if my hand had touched something disgusting. Besides being an asshole, he was also incredibly annoying.Reins Eiser was truly unbearable. Reluctantly, I lifted my hand away from his firm thigh.I tried to control my expression, which was probably already showing my annoyance. I turned my gaze away to avoid meeting Eiser's eyes. I was afraid my face would reveal what I was truly feeling.I let out a long breath, then forced a sweet smile onto my face.I moved closer to him again.“Sir... what's wrong? You don't like being touched?” I asked in a soft, teasing voice. “Don't you know the rules here?” His deep voice echoed in my ears.Damn it.This man had such a sharp jawline, and he looked incredibly captivating in that white shirt with the buttons undone at his chest. For a moment, I almost got lost in Reins

  • Catch me, Mr. Eiser   Chapter #1

Zara LangMy phone vibrated again. I let out a small sigh before opening the notification. A news article immediately filled the screen.Wanted Fugitive Found Dead in Abandoned Warehouse, Police Investigate the Name ‘Reins Eiser’.My eyes stopped on the last two words. Reins Eiser. That name again. I scrolled down and kept reading. A fugitive wanted in an illegal weapons trafficking case was found dead inside an abandoned warehouse early this morning. The victim was discovered holding a piece of paper with the name “Reins Eiser” written on it. Police have not confirmed whether the name belongs to the killer, the next target, or someone connected to the case. I quietly finished reading before locking my phone. The loud music instantly filled my ears again. Red and blue neon lights flashed across the bar. Behind the counter, rows of crystal glasses reflected the colorful lights. The air smelled of alcohol and cigarette smoke, making it hard to breathe. I slowly looked around.
