Shina's breath caught in her throat, his voice was so warm, how could a voice be considered warm. She looked at him for a moment and then at her phone in his hand and a brow raised. "Um..I mean..Hey...that's mine" She said pointing at the phone he had in his hand. She reached out like she was going to take it from him and he jerked his hand back and took a small step backwards his face looked unsure and confused, but also...his eyes seemed mesmerized, or maybe amazed would be a better term.

Shina blinked and tilted her head to the side sizing up the huge man infront of her. "Can I, get my phone back?" She looked him over again and realized his shirt was ripped in some places and he was dirty and disheveled. Realization hit her and she looked at the wrecked car behind him. "You...were in the accident?" She asked slightly confused as to how he was standing infront of her like everything was fine. "I was trying to call for help for you and the other car." She said reaching out again.

"I'm okay, the other car is empty. I think they left before I was able to get out of my vehicle." He spoke with finality like what he said was the end of the discussion. "Mmm okay, but shouldn't we still call for help?" She asked her eyes widened in confusion at his nonintrest in the situation. Vix looked over his shoulder at the mangled wreckage behind him and then back at the human. "I don't think it's needed." He replied and then held the phone out to her. She looked a bit taken aback but reached out to take her phone and her fingers brushed the back of his hand. Shina jerked away in surprise, what felt like an electric current had slid up her fingers and into her arm. Like the worst friction shock she had ever experienced, but the man infront of her leaned forward his eyes lit up and almost seemed to flash silver.

Shina heard a growl rumble from the man and she looked at him again. "I...should go back to my studio if you don't need help." She said taking a shakey step backwards, and then another and another before she turned around to rush back. But she felt a rush of air and he was standing infront of her again. She looked behind her and then back to her front confusion etched on her pale charcoal stained face.

The man stepped closer to her, a breath away now she could feel the heat coming off his body in waves and it made a shiver run down her spine. "Your name?" The man before her seemed to growl the question out between his teeth like he was fighting control. Shina opened her mouth and closed it a few times before clearing her throat. "Shina is how I'm called." She said softly feeling a bit smothered by the heat from his body and the size of him. Even though Shina was tall for a girl, she was six foot...he seemed to be much taller than her and his muscles were huge but not in an unhealthy way. His eyes now that he was closer were a silvery green color that swirled and every now and then flashed a bright molten silver.

"What...mm, what's your name?" She asked stumbling over her words a bit as she became flustered.

The man before her tilted his head to the side "Shhhina" He repeated her name his voice rolled it out like he was savoring the taste. "I'm Vix Ryker." He said and his hand reached out to her, Shina thought about stepping back she even tried to will herself to do it but her body didn't listen. His hand came up to cup her cheek and she leaned into it even when that weird zing shot through her check bone and down her neck.

"Mmm" Her voice betrayed her humming out in content as this stranger touched her cheek. "Mate..." Vix growled out "You are mine, my Shina" He said his voice wrapping around her in that warm way that it had been doing from the start. But his words snapped her out of it. "Mate? What...we just met I'm not your's, I don't belong to anyone." She said and pulled away moving around the strange guy and rushing the rest of the way to her studio.

Shina shut the door hard and pulled the lock before colapsing against it breathing hard in confusion and shock. Who was that guy and what did he mean by calling her mine. She was so tired and hungry before all of that happened. She sighed and pushed off the door, heading for the downstairs bathroom that was set up with a shower. She washed her body clean watching as the charcoal she had gotten on herself swirled down the shower drain.  What had she gotten herself into she thought as she toweled off and then pulled on an oversize shirt she had bought to sleep in. Once she was done Shina walked out of the bathroom and to the door across the hall that opened into a small bedroom.

She huffed as she collapsed onto the soft bed and wrapped herself in the blankets. "That guy must have been crazy...or maybe he really was hurt from the crash." She snuggled into her blankets tighter and drifted off to sleep. The image of Vix still fresh in her mind and that amazing electrical zing that had ran through her cheekbone and neck as he touched her was like a buzzing under her skin.

At some point Vix also fell asleep awkwardly on the couch while holding Shina. Which meant when the early morning sun started to shine through the large sitting room windows and Shina began to stir she woke to large arms wrapped around her and her head nestled up under Vix's chen her face pressed against the crook of his neck. Her face flushed and she jerked up to a sitting position, thought that might not have been her best idea because that had her stradling his lap awkwardly. "Um..." She mumbled but she was tangled into the blanket and trying to get up and it just made her press down harder on his lap and Vix woke with a groan. "Shiiina" His voice trailed out in a husky tone vibrating through his chest where Shina was resting her hands. Vix blinked a few times and looked up in surprise, "Morning" He said his eyes widening a bit as he felt Shina shift on his lap again and he had to bite his tongue to hold in the groan of pleasure as she rubbed along the length of him. She shifted a

Vix stood up and walked beside Shina towards the door. She stopped short a few steps and watched as he went to open it. Standing outside were two men just a bit smaller than Vix was. One was kind of pale but still darker than Shina was and the other one had sun kissed skin like Vix. The pale one stepped up he had blue eyes and dark hair. His eyes seemed to kind of shimmer and he stepped right up to Shina and reached his hand out. Shina reacted immediately and took his hand but he used it to pull her into a hug. "It's so amazing to finally meet you." He said and when he pulled back from the hug his eyes seemed to shimmer with unshed tears. "I'm Felix, your Gamma." He said softly before stepping away and standing off to the side of Shina but still close enough to touch her. She tilted her head thoughtfully at him. His hug had felt so warm, so right. Like it was a safe haven. The thought was pushed aside as the other man stepped up and fisted his hand over his chest and bowed at Shina.

Vix was still a bit weary but he reached out and grasped Rian by the hand. He was careful not to grasp too hard knowing how much stronger he was from humans. Rian looked at Shina and then back at Vix before letting his hand fall to his side. "Would you like to join us for lunch Vix? I brough a bunch of foods and drinks because Shina hasn't eaten much lately." Vix looked at Shina with an accusing look "We will definately have to change that moving forward." Shina looked a bit ashamed and nodded "Understood...but um. I wasn't done asking questions. Can...can Rian hear everything too?" Rian looked back and forth between them a quizical expression on his face and Vix glanced at him. "That's find if you trust this human." Shina nodded "He is like a brother to me at this point. I don't have any family so he is the closest thing." Rian looked at Shina in surprise but smiled softly "Yes I claim her as family too, but why so secretive...are you not actually her boyfriend?" Rian asked as he st

Shina sat down at the table in the small kitchen area on the first floor of the studio. She gestured for Vix to sit in the chair opposite her. After a moment of watching her he moved and sat down, his gaze seemed to drink all of her in. Shina took in a slow breath and then let it out even slower. It was a little nerve racking to be looked at like that. She wasn't sure if he wanted to memorize her every feature or eat her. Maybe both now that she thought about it.Vix cleared his throat and sat back in the chair making himself as comfortable as possible. "So." He said leaving the air open for her to speak. Shina nodded thoughtfully. "So...last night. I think I was a bit rude. You said...ummm well you said mate right?" the word mate came out a bit more hushed than the rest of the sentance. Shina blushed a bit and ran a hand through her long raven black hair. Vix nodded "Yes that's right. I sensed you were my mate, but you thought I was a crazy person right?" The light blush on her cheek

The sound of voices and people stomping up her stairs woke Shina from her sleep. She grumbled as she was hoping to sleep for atleast a full day before waking up. She tossed on some workout pants, the stretchy kind and a sports bra. Then slipped on a hooded jacket before stepping out of her little bedroom. "Rian do the movers have to be this loud every time they come to my studio?" She asked in an irritated voice as her agent Rian walked towards her after finishing up giving directions to the movers who were slowly walking her large painting down the stairs. "Sorry your majesty we didn't mean to ruin your beauty sleep." Rian said a small tilt to his lips and laughter in his words. He had been her agent from the beginning and their relationship was pretty friendly. He was also very gay and that put Shina at ease with how much time they spent around eachother. He would even find her half dead and in nothing but underclothes sometimes and have to call the ambulance because she overworked

Vix watched her go as she pulled away and rushed off, he didn't want to scare her. Part of him was afraid too of course. He had lost his first mate, she was a strong beta female with a warriors heart. This mate was just a fragile human who could be broken so easily. He looked down at his hand that was still tingling with energy where he had touched her cheek. He almost thought she was going to accept him right then and there. But after the words he had used she seemed shocked and rushed away. Maybe he had scared her, humans don't use terms like that do they.He ran studied his hand some of the markings that had been on her cheek had rubbed off on his hand and he sniffed at the silky blackness. "Charcoal..." He mumbled and then dusted his hand off on his jeans. He pulled his phone from his pocket and called Beta Elliot. "Need a road clean up crew, I was in a crash." He stated plainly and his Beta sighed "Got it Alpha, I knew I should have gone with you." Vix ran a hand through his hair
