Meeting Others

Vix stood up and walked beside Shina towards the door. She stopped short a few steps and watched as he went to open it. Standing outside were two men just a bit smaller than Vix was. One was kind of pale but still darker than Shina was and the other one had sun kissed skin like Vix. The pale one stepped up he had blue eyes and dark hair. His eyes seemed to kind of shimmer and he stepped right up to Shina and reached his hand out. Shina reacted immediately and took his hand but he used it to pull her into a hug. "It's so amazing to finally meet you." He said and when he pulled back from the hug his eyes seemed to shimmer with unshed tears. "I'm Felix, your Gamma." He said softly before stepping away and standing off to the side of Shina but still close enough to touch her. She tilted her head thoughtfully at him. His hug had felt so warm, so right. Like it was a safe haven. 

The thought was pushed aside as the other man stepped up and fisted his hand over his chest and bowed at Shina. "Um.." Shina looked at Vix and then back at the man. "Luna Shina it's so nice to meet you I'm Beta Elliot." Shina looked back at Vix opening her mouth in surprise. Someone was already calling her Luna it was a bit overwhelming. Vix sighed and smacked Elliot's shoulder. "I told you not to freak her out Elliot." For his part Elliot looked a bit sheepish and rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm sorry I was a bit excited. We've waited for her a long time." Elliot and Felix introduced themselves to Rian as Shina watched silently. Vix walked up behind her and she unconciously leaned back against him. His warm body felt nice against her, their clothes were in the way so their skin wasn't touching and she was a bit dissapointed not to feel that zapping that she had felt before. 

After everyone was introduced to one another Shina sat down on the couch and Vix sat down next to her, Felix plopped onto the arm of the couch on her other side. She eyed him curiously but didn't say anything. Elliot and Rian were still talking in the dinning area but Shina couldn't focus on their words. Shina peeked over her shoulder and looked at Elliot again he was tanned like Vix but he had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. Rian seemed to be enjoying the conversation they were havings. After a few moments Shina turned back around and leaned her head on Vix's shoulder. She was still so tired from the past few days, and his warmth made her feel cozy. 

She dozed off after a few moments of leaning against his shoulder. Vix looked down and realized Shina had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He put his hand beneath her head and repositioned himself on the couch and pulled Shina into his arms so he could hold her while she slept. Felix pulled the throw blanket from the back of the couch and placed it on her gently. He was very pleased that Vix had found his mate. Rian walked over and looked on slight surprise coloring his expression. "She usually wont sleep when there are other people in the house with her." He said with a soft smile. 

Vix looked up as Rian sat in a chair near the couch. "Rian, earlier she said she didn't have family. I know she was an orphan after looking her up last night. But did she really never get adopted?" Rian pressed his lips together and shook his head. "No, she was never adopted she lived her entire childhood at the orphanage she was dropped at as an infant." Vix nodded thoughtfully. "But the two of you seem really close?" Rian smiled "I guess so, though I didn't realize she thought of me like family until she said it today. I've just been with her since she graduated College and we've always gotten along pretty well. She is kind of a handful so be ready." Rian laughed a bit at the last bit. 

He pressed his hands together and huffed a sigh, "You better take care of her Alpha, and let me come visit as much as I want. I mean I'll probaly have to for her work anyway...but even if there isn't work." Vix smiled "Yes of course I wouldn't keep her away from her family, if you are her family you are our family as well." Felix and Elliot both nodded their heads in agreement. 

Another hour or so passed Rian and the others talked about how things would work and about documents that would need to be signed and all the red tape and paperwork that would be required. After that Rian left, he wanted to say bye to Shina but Vix didn't want to wake her. "Don't worry, we are staying here tonight. We won't leave until tomorrow afternoon once she agrees." Rian nodded and left the house.

Felix looked at Shina with a worried expression "Do humans always sleep this much?" He asked curiously and Vix laughed "She said she had been up for a few days without sleep working on her art." Felix pursed his lips "She will have to limit that behavior now." He said with a huff and Vix laughed nodding in agreement. When he laughed his chest moved a bit and Shina mumbled in her sleep and rolled over snuggling closer to him. Vix smiled down at her brushing a strand of hair from her cheek and as his finger dragged across her cheek she moaned softly and tilted her face towards his hand. 

Elliot stood up from where he had been sitting "Okay, I'm heading back to the Pack. There is a lot to get ready before you two come back tomorrow." Felix looked torn he wanted so badly to stay with his new Luna but also wanted everything ready for her as well. "I'll go back too." He said with a sour face. Vix laughed softly again. His people were happy, he couldn't wait to see how the rest of the pack would feel to finally have their Luna. Vix looked at Elliot thoughtfully, "Better prepare my room to have her as well as the room next door. Just in case she isn't ready to share a room right away." Elliot looked at Vix for a long moment and then nodded. "Of course Alpha." After they grabbed their things and finished cleaning up the food trash from earlier they both left silently.
