The sound of voices and people stomping up her stairs woke Shina from her sleep. She grumbled as she was hoping to sleep for atleast a full day before waking up. She tossed on some workout pants, the stretchy kind and a sports bra. Then slipped on a hooded jacket before stepping out of her little bedroom. "Rian do the movers have to be this loud every time they come to my studio?" She asked in an irritated voice as her agent Rian walked towards her after finishing up giving directions to the movers who were slowly walking her large painting down the stairs.

"Sorry your majesty we didn't mean to ruin your beauty sleep." Rian said a small tilt to his lips and laughter in his words. He had been her agent from the beginning and their relationship was pretty friendly. He was also very gay and that put Shina at ease with how much time they spent around eachother. He would even find her half dead and in nothing but underclothes sometimes and have to call the ambulance because she overworked herself. Shina chucked softly before a flash of last night reminded her of the damage out front and she rushed to the door to look out. But there was no trace fo the crash, like it had never happened. She furrowed her brow and then looked at Rian who was staring at her in his own confusion.

She decided it'd be best not to mention everything that happened last night to Rian because he would completely flip out. She plopped down on the couch in the sitting area and watched as he painting was hauled out the doors and to the truck waiting outside. She replayed the things that happened last night and remembered the feel of Vix's hand on her cheek and she reached up her skin still felt warm somehow. Rian was watching her but said nothing. He rarely questioned the way the artists he was in charge of acted unless it was dangerous or hazardous to their health.

Rian walked off to finish up with the movers leaving Shina to sit alone on the couch. She replayed the words over and over again. She had been so tired last night that they didn't register completely but the more she thought about it the more she realized she knew exactly what those words meant. She had learned them in school. Wolf Intro 101 a class all humans had to take once they hit the age of sixteen, it was required by the government of their territory. Something about wolves finding mates at age eighteen or something. But she was sure she remembered that term. "Mate...the one tied to your soul by the goddess of the wolves, you can have no other and are not whole without eachother." Shina sited the definition outloud the words feeling heavy as she spoke them.

It was a joke right...or maybe he had been confused because of the crash. No wait he was a wolf so maybe he wasn't confused at all and that also explains why he didn't want 911 called. They take care of their own stuff usually unless a human is actively involved in it and then they cooperate with the human authorities if needed. Shina bit her lip thoughtfuly and hadn't noticed Rian just standing there looking at her with a thoughtful expression. "Is there a reason you are talking about Mates?" He asked curiously as he sat down beside Shina.

Shina looked at him surprised "Oh...um. No reason" She waved him off and stood up heading to the stairs and taking them two at a time till she reached the top. "Okay, well I have to meet the movers at the gallery so be sure to eat I know you haven't in a while you look even paler than your norm." He shouted as he stepped outside closing the door behind him.

Shina stood looking at a blank canvas that Rian had set up for her in case she wanted to work on something after he took her gallery piece. He was always ontop of her needs for the most part. Even when she didn't actually do as he said and it all kind of backfired. She chewed her lip thoughtfully before walking away from the canvas and looking out the windows. She was just looking off into the sky not really focused on anything her thoughts weren't even really running through her mind at this point. She was just trying to clear her mind and change her head space.

The sound of someone knocking on the door downstairs is what snapped her out of her thoughts. Shina looked down the stairs considering if she actually wanted to go down there and open that door or not. She had a feeling she knew who it was something inside her was pulling her telling her to go down there and open the door. It was hard to ignore but she tried for a few moments.

After a short inner battle she sighed and walked down the stairs slowly. She walked to the door and placed her hand on the doorknob. She took a deep breath and opened it with more confidence than she felt. "Yes?" She asked and her eyes snapped up into the silvery green eyes of Vix. "Vix...Ryker. Right?" She asked her voice soft and she crossed her arms but the motion pressed her breasts up as they were already squeezed into the sports bra she was wearing.

Vix took a breath and worked hard to keep his eyes on her's and not to look down at the beautiful body of his mate even as she made a motion that would most definately make her even more appealing. "Yes, and you are Shina. Or Vianna Shina?" He asked curiously because she had introduced herself as Shina but her first name was actually Vianna. Vix had been unable to sleep and instead used g****e a bit to much and found out she was a pretty popular artist which answered his charcoal questions from last night. Shina rolled her eyes and nodded "Yes, but I don't really use my first name." Vix nodded in understanding and then had to put his hands behind his back to keep from pulling her to him.

Shina looked Vix over slowly now that there was a lot more light she could see how handsome he was. He was the definition of sexy and his movements were somehow elegant even with his size. "You can come in." She finally said and walked away from the open door. Vix followed her in and closed the door behind him.

At some point Vix also fell asleep awkwardly on the couch while holding Shina. Which meant when the early morning sun started to shine through the large sitting room windows and Shina began to stir she woke to large arms wrapped around her and her head nestled up under Vix's chen her face pressed against the crook of his neck. Her face flushed and she jerked up to a sitting position, thought that might not have been her best idea because that had her stradling his lap awkwardly. "Um..." She mumbled but she was tangled into the blanket and trying to get up and it just made her press down harder on his lap and Vix woke with a groan. "Shiiina" His voice trailed out in a husky tone vibrating through his chest where Shina was resting her hands. Vix blinked a few times and looked up in surprise, "Morning" He said his eyes widening a bit as he felt Shina shift on his lap again and he had to bite his tongue to hold in the groan of pleasure as she rubbed along the length of him. She shifted a

Vix stood up and walked beside Shina towards the door. She stopped short a few steps and watched as he went to open it. Standing outside were two men just a bit smaller than Vix was. One was kind of pale but still darker than Shina was and the other one had sun kissed skin like Vix. The pale one stepped up he had blue eyes and dark hair. His eyes seemed to kind of shimmer and he stepped right up to Shina and reached his hand out. Shina reacted immediately and took his hand but he used it to pull her into a hug. "It's so amazing to finally meet you." He said and when he pulled back from the hug his eyes seemed to shimmer with unshed tears. "I'm Felix, your Gamma." He said softly before stepping away and standing off to the side of Shina but still close enough to touch her. She tilted her head thoughtfully at him. His hug had felt so warm, so right. Like it was a safe haven. The thought was pushed aside as the other man stepped up and fisted his hand over his chest and bowed at Shina.

Vix was still a bit weary but he reached out and grasped Rian by the hand. He was careful not to grasp too hard knowing how much stronger he was from humans. Rian looked at Shina and then back at Vix before letting his hand fall to his side. "Would you like to join us for lunch Vix? I brough a bunch of foods and drinks because Shina hasn't eaten much lately." Vix looked at Shina with an accusing look "We will definately have to change that moving forward." Shina looked a bit ashamed and nodded "Understood...but um. I wasn't done asking questions. Can...can Rian hear everything too?" Rian looked back and forth between them a quizical expression on his face and Vix glanced at him. "That's find if you trust this human." Shina nodded "He is like a brother to me at this point. I don't have any family so he is the closest thing." Rian looked at Shina in surprise but smiled softly "Yes I claim her as family too, but why so secretive...are you not actually her boyfriend?" Rian asked as he st

Shina sat down at the table in the small kitchen area on the first floor of the studio. She gestured for Vix to sit in the chair opposite her. After a moment of watching her he moved and sat down, his gaze seemed to drink all of her in. Shina took in a slow breath and then let it out even slower. It was a little nerve racking to be looked at like that. She wasn't sure if he wanted to memorize her every feature or eat her. Maybe both now that she thought about it.Vix cleared his throat and sat back in the chair making himself as comfortable as possible. "So." He said leaving the air open for her to speak. Shina nodded thoughtfully. "So...last night. I think I was a bit rude. You said...ummm well you said mate right?" the word mate came out a bit more hushed than the rest of the sentance. Shina blushed a bit and ran a hand through her long raven black hair. Vix nodded "Yes that's right. I sensed you were my mate, but you thought I was a crazy person right?" The light blush on her cheek

Vix watched her go as she pulled away and rushed off, he didn't want to scare her. Part of him was afraid too of course. He had lost his first mate, she was a strong beta female with a warriors heart. This mate was just a fragile human who could be broken so easily. He looked down at his hand that was still tingling with energy where he had touched her cheek. He almost thought she was going to accept him right then and there. But after the words he had used she seemed shocked and rushed away. Maybe he had scared her, humans don't use terms like that do they.He ran studied his hand some of the markings that had been on her cheek had rubbed off on his hand and he sniffed at the silky blackness. "Charcoal..." He mumbled and then dusted his hand off on his jeans. He pulled his phone from his pocket and called Beta Elliot. "Need a road clean up crew, I was in a crash." He stated plainly and his Beta sighed "Got it Alpha, I knew I should have gone with you." Vix ran a hand through his hair
