Vianna Shina, she didn't really have any goals in mind as she moved through life. An orphan she learned to live her life alone and was an independent person. She was an artist and most of her day was consumed by charcoal and due dates for work she needed to complete. She thought the most dangerous thing in her life was forgetting to eat and passing out on top of one of her canvas and ruining her work. That was until one night while in her studio a loud crash came from outside and what she found changed her life.

Vianna Shina

Artists thrive on different things, some thrive on life...the life you breathe in each day. That unrelenting warmth of those around you and the beauty of the world. Some thrive on darkness, the twistedness of the world, and the darkness that lives within them and those around them. Vianna might have been an unhealthy mix of both.

She lived each day in the moment as it happened, because for her life never really felt guaranted. It always felt just out of reach like if she took that step to try and reach the little end of the string she'd fall into the abyss that awaited below.

Vianna didn't particularly like her name the orphanage where she grew up had named her that, and her last name was actually a piece of the Orphanages name and apparently the last name of the founder who had died like fifty years prior. She usually went by Shina actually because she much prefered that name over her first. The Orphanage was in the human territory, that said because there was also the territory of the wolves and the territory of the vampires as well as the territory of the fae. After they were sure she was human they gave her that name.

She had been a very studious young person and pushed herself to be the top of all of her academics. Mainly because she knew that once she was of age she was out on her ass. She got all the scholarships she could possibly get and took herself to a prestigious Arts school. Her school life was just as uneventful as her childhood. She worked her ass off and did her best and as she graduated she was offered a sponsorship and an agent.

She was now twenty-seven and had been working as a comission artist since graduating at twenty-four. She had her own studio and pushed herself to new hights every chance she got. Currently she was working on a project to try and get a show lined up at a near by gallery. Her goal of course was to own a gallery herself so that she could have her art up whenever she wanted and have shows whenever she wanted. Not on someone elses deadline.

She glared at the canvas infront fo her her eyes were a bit blurry, a bit from being sleepy and a bit from the fact she couldn't remember when she had eaten last. She scooted her stool back a bit so if she did fall over she wouldn't land on the canvas infront of her. She ran a hand over her face a black smear spreading across her pale skin as the charcoal on her hand brushed down her face.

She was a bit frustrated being that she was having to redo the last piece she was planning to submit to the gallery for the show that was going to happen next week. The gallery owner had felt the last piece she tried to submit didn't fit the other works she had already completed. Even though it was sort of true it annoyed Shina to no end. They were just being a bit too picky, that's what it was. She huffed out a sigh as she reached out and the charcoal in her hand broke the deep silence in her studio as it scrapped against the canvas.

Shina tilted her head to the side and nodded as she made a few more strokes and then passed her shading tool over the area to blur the edges of the image she had just created. She had made the stable image of a deer but it was looking down into a pool of water and now she was blurring the mirrored image she had created in the pool of water. She felt it would be a closer match to the other images she had submited and hoped they would just accept it and move on.

She finished up and carefully covered the piece and put a sign up for her Agent to take the piece for submission in the morning. She was probably going to be passed out for the next couple of days with how tired she was.

After finishing that up she stretched her aching shoulders and walked across the room heading towards the large windows that stood openign towards the lone street below. Just as she made it to the windows a loud screech and crash of metal exploded through the silent piece that was the night. She looked down and saw two cars twisted and pressed up against eachother.

Usually she would have stayed where she was but she could actually see the people trying to crawl out of the broken wreckage. She snagged her phone and rushed down the stairs of her studio and burst through the doors to outside. "Do you need help?" She called toward the wreckage. "Can anyone hear me?" She asked looking over the cars again but not seeing anyone this time.

Her brows came together in slight confussion, she could have sworn that there was someone trying to crawl out of the car when she looked down from her window. Shina lifted her phone trying to unlock it but the charcoal slicking her fingers was making it hard to use the screen. She managed to get it unlocked and was typing 911 into her call app when the phone was snatched from her hand.

Her head snapped up and infront of her was a young man, perhaps about her age maybe a few years older. He was huge, definately an athlete of some kind. His skin was kissed by the sun and his hair was tied back in a low hung pony but she was sure if she pulled the hair tie his hair would brush the bottoms of his shoulder blades. "Hey..." The word dropped from her lips a bit of confusion and a lot of indignation. The large man infront of her raised a brow and a small smirk appeared on his lips lifting one corner of his mouth. "Hey" He said back, his voice swirled around Shina like a warmth hugging her.
