Future Luna..Maybe?

At some point Vix also fell asleep awkwardly on the couch while holding Shina. Which meant when the early morning sun started to shine through the large sitting room windows and Shina began to stir she woke to large arms wrapped around her and her head nestled up under Vix's chen her face pressed against the crook of his neck. Her face flushed and she jerked up to a sitting position, thought that might not have been her best idea because that had her stradling his lap awkwardly. "Um..." She mumbled but she was tangled into the blanket and trying to get up and it just made her press down harder on his lap and Vix woke with a groan. "Shiiina" His voice trailed out in a husky tone vibrating through his chest where Shina was resting her hands. 

Vix blinked a few times and looked up in surprise, "Morning" He said his eyes widening a bit as he felt Shina shift on his lap again and he had to bite his tongue to hold in the groan of pleasure as she rubbed along the length of him. She shifted again but promptly tilted to the side and plopped over onto the floor with a huff. "I'm, so sorry!" She said and burried her head under the blanket that was no longer tied around her legs. Vix laughed, it was deep and soothing "It's okay Shina, I'm sorry if I overstepped to soon. But you were sleeping so well I didn't want to wake you." Shina peeked out from under the edge of the blanket to look at Vix. His face was full of amusement and it kind of ticked Shina off a bit. 

She huffed and stood up tossing the blanket onto the end of the couch. "I'm going to take a shower and change clothes. We can talk some more after while we eat breakfast." She said and walked towards the bathroom that was in the back corner of the first floor. Vix laid there on the couch until he heard the water start and then sat up running his hands along his face. She was human, she was his mate. He was so happy to have found a second chance mate, though he couldn't deny how worried he was as well. Vix left the studio and ran down the road to a coffee shop to grab some muffins and coffee for the two of them. 

By the time he made it back Shina was sitting at the table waiting for him, she had finished her shower and dressed in some high waisted jeans and a tank top. She was scrolling through her phone when Vix walked in causing her to glance up. She gave him a small smile, now that she was fully awake and not in an awkward position she was in a better mood. "Welcome back." She said softly setting her phone to the side after locking it. Vix smiled back and placed the muffins on the table and handed her one of the coffees. 

Shina sipped the coffee and ate a muffin silently as she glanced at Vix through her lashes. Once she finished the muffin she sat back and stretched her sholders and arms. "Okay, I guess we should start talking now." She said looking him in the face now. Vix nodded "Really it's up to you, as much as I want and need you; even right now it's taking everything in me not to reach out and hold you, I want this to be your choice. I won't force you to become my mate." Shina chewed her lip thoughtfully "But I feel it too...the pull. Like I'm supposed to be with you. Like your arms are home." She tapped her nails against the table thoughtfully. "But at the same time, I'm not sure I'm a Luna." Shina was looking at Vix when she said it and it seemed like he visibally flinched as she spoke. 

Vix started to say something but Shina raised her hand, "I can't tell you how much I want to just say yes right away. How much it would mean to me to finally have a family...and a big one at that." She smiled sadly for a moment before continuing. "But being a Luna is so important, you have to protect so many wolves and take care of them. I don't think I'm that person...at least not right now I'm not." She said her voice held a sternness that it hadn't before. Shina took a breath and let it out slowly. "So, I'll go with you for now. You can teach me and I can learn, lets make it a trial of sorts. If you can hold off on making it official long enough for me to figure this out...I'll go." Vix blinked at her his face seemed strained with frustration but he swallowed hard and nodded. "Okay, if that's what I have to do to get my mate then that's what I will do." 

Not long after that Rian came over and talked with Shina about the gallery and how well it did with her show, and then they talked about Shina taking a break from anything that wasn't a commission and then she said she would only take two a month for now. She explained the decision she had made to Rian and he seemed agreeable to it as well. It was lunch time when Felix and Elliot arrived to retrieve Vix and Shina. 

Rian said he would pack up her things and text her when it was done so some warriors from the pack could come and get it all. Felix had apparently also set up a small art studio for her in one of the extra rooms on the Alpha wing of the pack house. With everything settled Shina hugged Rian goodbye and everyone walked out of the studio. Shina walked with Vix to the vehicle that Elliot and Felix had come in and climbed up into the back. Vix joined her there and Elliot took the drivers seat with Felix in the Passanger. It was time to go start a new future...and maybe become a Luna?
