Chapter 24 An Old Friend

Claudius's POV

Colton holds me up as I rinse my mouth out, and Dominic flushes the toilet so I don't have to see my vomit.

I hold onto Colton as I turn toward my room and he leans down and lifts me into his arms. I look out the small window as we walk past, and realize it's been a while since I felt the warm summer air.

"Can you take me outside? I want to sit on the porch swing and get some fresh air before the storm comes." I said, seeing the storm clouds in the distance.

"Of course!" Colton said, smiling at me.

I take a deep breath, taking in the beautiful summer air, and the storm that's coming. It's still a ways away, but I can smell it. I can smell the rain, and it smells wonderful!

I slowly rock myself on the porch swing, looking out at the beautiful green grass, and watching the trees sway in the wind.

For some reason, the rain reminds me of home, and I find myself wondering what everyone is doing at home. How is the Alpha? How is Noah? Has he found love yet? Is

I hope they have a third mate, but Claudius finds and builds a relationship with them first. By this happening, hopefully, Hughes suffers with the idea that his mates may not want him. Karma is a beautiful thing.
