33| THE MORNING AFTER

Light.

Too much light, my head hurt. I kept trying to open my eyes for one good minute and when I finally succeeded, I glanced around. My brows furrowed.

What was I doing in Dice's room now?

I rubbed my throbbing temple, wiping crusts that'd settled around my eyelids as I tried to remember yesterday's events. At first, I could only remember what had happened on the dance floor in the club, until little by little, the sounds of my confessions began to fill my head.

"Oh shit, oh shit, can the earth swallow me now?" I whispered to myself, burying my face in my palms.

"Unfortunately not. You said a lot last night, princess." My head jerked upwards right away.

Dice stood in front of me, fully dressed for work. Today, he had not woken me up with his tongue in my cunt. For some reason, I felt extra sad about it.

"Yeah, I didn't mean any of what I'd said, I was super drunk." I told him, holding the duvet to my chest as if I was trying to hide my shame.
