Chapter 147

As Aria was crying out for help, the screen in front of her lit up. She saw Damian in a dark room, and her face paled.

“Damian, honey!” Aria shouted, but unfortunately, Damian could not hear her because the connection had been cut off.

Mark’s voice came through the speakers, “Aria, shhh, don’t cry, okay. I will be sure to take care of you once he is gone. You don’t have to thank me.”

Aria shouted at the top of her lungs, “Mark, you bastard, I will kill you.”

“Aww, I am so afraid.” Mark feigned panic.

He laughed out loud as his voice continued to echo in the tiny room, “Aria, you should have thought twice before agreeing to marry that asshole. You know that he was my sworn enemy, but you went ahead and married him anyway. You even helped him send me to jail. Now, it is payback time.”
