Chapter 8

Alpha Caden’s words hit Madison as usual but she did not say a word in response. He had already held her in a choke hold, she was not begging to be further manhandled.

“You are to stay in this chamber until I say otherwise. If I so much as catch your scent on the back of the door you would regret ever knowing me.” Alpha Caden said to Madison before he stormed off.

Madison scoffed as the door closed behind him. She would regret ever knowing him? She already regretted it! It was not something to happen in the future, she was actively regretting her decision to go along with her uncle’s order. Surely she would have weaseled her way out of it.

She raised her hand to her neck and winced when her fingers came in contact with the now tender skin. It was going to heal soon but that did not mean that she enjoyed being treated like this.
