LOGIN“You finally figured it out. It must have been a hard puzzle to solve.” Ha answered, his sarcasm obvious in his reply.
“I told you to watch your back, no one humiliates me that way.” He got up from where he was, forming another fight stance.
“So what is this, revenge?” I asked, stepping closer. Rodriguez was no match for me, but I liked his resilience; he wasn’t one to give up easily.
“How about a deal Rodriguez?”
He raised the corner of his eye. He stared at me for a while. After what felt like decades he responded
“What kind of deal?”
“It’s simple, if I lose this fight I’ll do whatever you say.”
“No. That won’t be necessary, I intend on killing you here.” He replied, waving my words away.
“Yes, you could end my life if you want.”
“And what’s in it for you?” he shifted his leg, adjusting his stance to look stern.
“You’ll work for me.”
“Girl, you have some serious guts. You'll meet the gods today.”
“Are you afraid to accept?”
“Hahaha, you know what? I accept your request. This just got more interesting.” he said, a wild grin forming.
He leaped forward, transforming in the process. As he got nearer, his jaws were on full display. Rodriguez's werewolf form was an interesting one. His fur looked rough like a rogue wolf, and his demeanor in this form also suggested so. But still, you could see the control he had over the form.
His swipes were rough but planned, his moves predictable but planned. I held one of his front limbs, and he slashed at my neck. I dodged it easily. The once beautiful garden had become a disaster, and the lovely flowers had long been destroyed.
It was amazing to see the precise and coordinated attacks he pulled off in this form. His focus and determination grabbed my attention so much.
“My turn,” I whispered in his ear, and vanished at that moment. His eyes darted from tree to leaf searching for me.
“Now you hide?!”
“Huh?” I couldn't decipher the look exactly, whether it was that of someone who saw a ghost or rather confusion, it wasn't clear.
He stepped back involuntarily, his limbs outrightly shaking.
“What is it? You seem… afraid.” I said in a hushed tone, getting closer with calculated steps.
He transformed back to his human form. His legs shook until they didn’t. He stood strong, a brave conviction written all over him now, and the next second he bent the knee. Rodriguez's head faced the earth.
The red in my eyes still shone with might, he felt the pressure, he didn't need to be commanded. He willingly bent the knee.
“I’m at your beck and call Alpha, your wish is my priority,” he said, while his head still faced the ground.

RODRIGUEZ POV
My eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing, the energy I felt from her, no wonder, now I understood, this fear that still lingered in me while I fought her, it wasn't just fear… it was a warning. I just didn't understand it.
The way she spoke. She was always certain about everything she said. I understood it all now. Her disposition every time she looked at me.
I came to an even bigger realization as my knees were on the ground floor. She went easy on me the first day… in class, during our duel.
She is an Alpha. It's an absurd statement. I didn't have the brain to articulate it. At this point, the world keeps getting crazier by the day. I was truly trying to get myself killed by going up against her.
I stood up gradually weighing my options, should I run? That would be stupid. She was damn too fast for me.
“Rodriguez, would you like to be a member of my pack?” she said tilting her head to the side.
I shivered unknowingly. Is she really giving me an option? I mean I could just say no. But that could lead to an early grave. She is quite strong, a female Alpha? Hell, count me in. I've always loved adventures, and this will be a hell of an adventure for me.
Besides, there is something I see whenever I look at her… and I want to be part of it. The worst situation could be me ending up dead in some fight, which would have happened anyway.
“Yes, Alpha! It would be my greatest honor.”
I felt this thrill in me like I'm about to be on a wild ride, before coming here, I was just a street fighter. A young werewolf orphaned since birth, lived and fended on the street. I had to fight my way out, and fortunately, after a fight to the death one of those days, a fine man with a white suitcase approached me offering a scholarship letter to Sheffield Academy.
I thought about beating his ass that day. Hell, I tried too, but I got my ass handed to me. That was when I believed it.
“Good, then brace yourself.”
I didn't know what she meant until I felt jaws sinking into my skin. Most people don't know the extreme pains of being initiated into a pack. This is because most of them were born into one. Of course, there have always been five nations with five existing Alphas since time immemorial. What I felt was unimaginable pain. My view felt blurry and I felt my knee hit the ground.
I felt liquid on my face and my head also felt heavy. I stood up with my heavy weight resting on my wiggling legs. We were still in the same garden where we fought not long ago. She sat on a long broken tree part which looked like it was part of the ground now. She seemed to be focus on something, she was deep in thought. My gaze fell on her cleavage.
I wanted to do so many things to it just from taking a glance. The alpha was really a beautiful lady.
“Men, you perverted creatures.”
What was that just now?
ELSA’S POVRodriguez looked flustered. The expression on his face revealed his embarrassment. His lips parted while making a statement but the words stuck on his tongue.“Anyways, be more careful with your lucid thoughts next time.”His hand met his hair as he scratched while looking elsewhere.“But what is this? You can hear my thoughts now?”“Yes, whenever I choose to. I can communicate telepathically also. The pack rules bind you and you will suffer if you violate them.”I turned to leave, and I had already taken a few steps when I noticed a looming shadow that stood above me. I turned back already knowing who followed me.“Elsa.”“Alex, you always pull up at the most unexpected time.”His lips curled in an elated smile as he got closer, taking me in for a warm embrace. It was the same feeling I felt every time I was with him, each time I wrapped my arms around him, there was this feeling in my heart, like it shouldn't end. But it always did. Incidentally, after thinking about thi

“Isn’t that the level four student who was angry when you turned him down?” It was Oliver who spoke and he just revealed some interesting information while looking at Isabella.“I feel sorry for him, imagine getting turned down by Isabella,” Brad said, laughing. Richard bumped his shoulders saying“Oh come on, stop messing around, you know how much of a jerk Athelstan was to Isabella.” “What did he do Isabella?” I asked. I didn't want to look too interested in the topic, so I wandered carefreely.Isabella’s face contorted in an unsettling way as she recalled the story. “Athelstan approached me in the first week of school, he professed love to me stating it was love at first sight, he said he could feel our connection… that I was his mate.”Everyone fell silent as Isabella narrated her ordeal with Athelstan.“I didn’t want to sound rude, so I just told him that I wasn’t ready for that, I also emphasized that I was a fresher. Athelstan didn't take this lightly, he felt his ego was b
“What the hell, that was so gruesome.”“She would have just targeted the eyes.”“I hate to be that beast.”“I think it was Oliver that killed the beast.”The students had a lot of opinions about the fight, especially the ghastly death of the monster. Many were surprised by the unorthodox method I chose, to kill the monster. But I didn’t really care about that, I was just glad it was over.“That was a good one… wouldn’t you agree with me, class?”It seemed mica had a few things to say as she got up to her feet.“Agree with you? We almost died Ser, this was definitely beyond a Ravage tier monster.”“Yes. It most certainly was. For those of you looking to work for the guilds and become adventurers, do you think you’ll decide the tier of the monster you’ll encounter while in there? Werewolves have only covered fifteen percent of the Elshire forest, with so many mysterious and unknown creatures yet to be discovered.”He paused, his gaze turned to me suddenly, it was as though he was tryin
“Oliver, it's right behind you!” I screamed out, to Oliver. He jumped up avoiding the strike to the leg delivered by the giant spider.Just minutes ago we had discussed our strengths to devise ways to end it quickly. Oliver and Benjamin were placed as our offensives considering they were stronger.“I want to be on the offensive too.” I said out loud, deciding not to be quiet.“What? You wanna get yourself killed?” Benjamin replied, his eyes seemed to be weighing me. “Besides, we will really need you guys to back us up on the defensive.” He added.“Thelma, be on the look out for the weak spot, you might notice while we are attacking.” Oliver said, releasing what looked like a trident. It wasn’t a lycan weapon but I could tell it was lethal. The spider had already revealed itself fully now. It was tall, reaching half the height of the colosseum. “Woahh!” Mica exclaimed, dodging a web that came from its mouth. It roared in anger, going straight for her again. Oliver rushed in with his
“What did you just say?” Daniel replied with a raised brow.“I mean… I don’t know if I’m strong enough to take him out.”“That is your problem. Do not disappoint the alpha.”“What if I get killed or caught doing this task?”“Then you should be proud of dying for your Alpha. But if you get caught, you know better than to mention his involvement in it. I wish you the best of luck child, try not to die yet. You interest me.” He replied heading to the stairway.Great, now I’m tasked to kill an innocent person. I can’t do that. It just makes me part of the system I fight against. I didn’t want to follow the stairway so I used the balcony again, bringing myself all the way down. Jumping and sliding down different platforms till I was back in the hallway I took off from earlier.I just had a few minutes more before my lecture, I sprinted as fast as I could, I left the castle grounds in seconds, the lecture wasn’t held in one of the many spaces in the school, rather it was held in the school
