“Isn’t that the level four student who was angry when you turned him down?”

It was Oliver who spoke and he just revealed some interesting information while looking at Isabella.

“I feel sorry for him, imagine getting turned down by Isabella,” Brad said, laughing. Richard bumped his shoulders saying

“Oh come on, stop messing around, you know how much of a jerk Athelstan was to Isabella.”

“What did he do Isabella?” I asked. I didn't want to look too interested in the topic, so I wandered carefreely.

Isabella’s face contorted in an unsettling way as she recalled the story.

“Athelstan approached me in the first week of school, he professed love to me stating it was love at first sight, he said he could feel our connection… that I was his mate.”

Everyone fell silent as Isabella narrated her ordeal with Athelstan.

“I didn’t want to sound rude, so I just told him that I wasn’t ready for that, I also emphasized that I was a fresher. Athelstan didn't take this lightly, he felt his ego was bruised. He grabbed my hand as I tried to walk out of him.”

“That asshole!” Oliver added.

“He did something more bitchy. He told me his uncle was Alpha Ottoman and nobody can just walk out on him, I was so angry I kicked him… well in a place I shouldn't have. His friends laughed at him but while he groaned on the floor he swore on the gods to make me pay.”

“Long story short; this guy is a bully and a douchebag,” she said whilst unlocking the door to our room. How could he behave like that, I wasn't sure I would have a problem dealing with him.

The task assigned to me still disturbed my thoughts the next morning as I walked through the school's garden. Is it really okay for me to end him? What if I get caught in the process? That would be a disaster. The crisp air cascaded over my skin as I navigated the garden.

I was in my uniform, I had excused myself from my friends, and I needed space to think about the whole situation.

Salvatore, can you hear me?

Yes, Alpha, that's how it works I can't hear you. He answered, laughing in between his words.

Don't be cocky with me right now Salvatore. I need answers. And I need them quickly.

Yes, Alpha what can I help with?

Find out Blodimir Athelstan's room number immediately

Okay Alpha give me a second

Okay, firstly Alpha I would like to warn you not to make a rash move because he is the nephew of Alpha Ottoman. His room number is 589.

That'll be all Salvatore.

Now I knew where to find him, the next full moon is quite near. It would be the best time to strike and most dangerous too, because on a full moon a werewolf’s energy pool is extremely large and its strength increases in leaps.

I haven't been affected by the full moon since what happened to me more than a year ago. Wolves were also berserk on a full moon, the only good thing about it is that if I fail to defeat him and escape, he won't be able to remember what happened in that state.

I decided to head back inside to catch up with others. Turning back I bumped into something large. No. It wasn't something. It was someone. He towered over me like a building. I didn't know when it happened but something strong whacked me far back into the garden.

“Do you remember me girl?!” the hoarse voice shouted out

“It depends. Are you worth remembering?” I said, as a genuine smile crept across my face.

“How dare you, you brat. You insult me again! I saw you talking to yourself Elsa, you are crazy.”

“So now I'm the crazy one?” I retorted, as my eyes sized the giant in front of me.

“How do you know my name?”

“I always know the names of the people I want to kill, I've followed you Elsa, I've monitored you for a while. I don't know what weird shit you're, yet I assure you, you'll join the gods today,” he spoke now through gritted teeth.

“Do you know what the weirdest part is? I don't even give a crap who you are. You should leave. I don't want to hurt you.” My tone got deeper as I spoke. He wore the school uniform just like I did so it was obvious he was a student, although I was skeptical about his level.

The uniform was so tight on him that it threatened to explode any time soon. It seemed I had upset him more as he boiled with rage from my last statement.

“You will meet your end!” he said, exploding from the ground. I had to admit he was faster than he looked. He went for a blow straight to the face. I decided to take the brunt of the attack but blocked my face with my folded hands put together.

It was strong, it was definitely powerful, I felt it, all the emotions put into it. Not only that, looking below I discovered the attack had caused a crater below me.

“Just look at what you've done to the school's garden. I liked that garden.” I bellowed with a taunting smile.

He went for a stomp, and I climbed up his leg delivering a noise-shattering slap across his face. He was stunned for a second, I was so caught up in grinning at him that I didn't notice his other hand grabbing my back, flinging me with brute force to the ground. I found myself creating an even deeper crater.

“Stay on the ground whore! That's where you belong!” he yelled, frustration evident in his tone.

He came at me again, this time not running, but with a controlled pace. He had so much concentration in his eyes as they locked with mine. He did something I didn't expect him to. When he got close enough he threw a careless punch, making me move back a little. He then struck his arms together creating a powerful shockwave which rippled through the garden.

I was the one stunned now. And he took advantage of that, he grabbed my neck. I easily removed his arm and he looked a little surprised. He went for a punch to my belly but I countered it with my arm and went straight for an uppercut to his face.

The blow threw him away from the crater. He was skilled, I could tell. Yet he wasn't fast enough, it reminded me of someone I had a duel with. No way, could it be…

“Rodriguez Zelster?”

He raised his head from the ground, his face filled with dust, grim, anger, and revenge.

“What the hell, that was so gruesome.”“She would have just targeted the eyes.”“I hate to be that beast.”“I think it was Oliver that killed the beast.”The students had a lot of opinions about the fight, especially the ghastly death of the monster. Many were surprised by the unorthodox method I chose, to kill the monster. But I didn’t really care about that, I was just glad it was over.“That was a good one… wouldn’t you agree with me, class?”It seemed mica had a few things to say as she got up to her feet.“Agree with you? We almost died Ser, this was definitely beyond a Ravage tier monster.”“Yes. It most certainly was. For those of you looking to work for the guilds and become adventurers, do you think you’ll decide the tier of the monster you’ll encounter while in there? Werewolves have only covered fifteen percent of the Elshire forest, with so many mysterious and unknown creatures yet to be discovered.”He paused, his gaze turned to me suddenly, it was as though he was tryin

“Oliver, it's right behind you!” I screamed out, to Oliver. He jumped up avoiding the strike to the leg delivered by the giant spider.Just minutes ago we had discussed our strengths to devise ways to end it quickly. Oliver and Benjamin were placed as our offensives considering they were stronger.“I want to be on the offensive too.” I said out loud, deciding not to be quiet.“What? You wanna get yourself killed?” Benjamin replied, his eyes seemed to be weighing me. “Besides, we will really need you guys to back us up on the defensive.” He added.“Thelma, be on the look out for the weak spot, you might notice while we are attacking.” Oliver said, releasing what looked like a trident. It wasn’t a lycan weapon but I could tell it was lethal. The spider had already revealed itself fully now. It was tall, reaching half the height of the colosseum. “Woahh!” Mica exclaimed, dodging a web that came from its mouth. It roared in anger, going straight for her again. Oliver rushed in with his

“What did you just say?” Daniel replied with a raised brow.“I mean… I don’t know if I’m strong enough to take him out.”“That is your problem. Do not disappoint the alpha.”“What if I get killed or caught doing this task?”“Then you should be proud of dying for your Alpha. But if you get caught, you know better than to mention his involvement in it. I wish you the best of luck child, try not to die yet. You interest me.” He replied heading to the stairway.Great, now I’m tasked to kill an innocent person. I can’t do that. It just makes me part of the system I fight against. I didn’t want to follow the stairway so I used the balcony again, bringing myself all the way down. Jumping and sliding down different platforms till I was back in the hallway I took off from earlier.I just had a few minutes more before my lecture, I sprinted as fast as I could, I left the castle grounds in seconds, the lecture wasn’t held in one of the many spaces in the school, rather it was held in the school

  • ELSA’S PACK   Chapter 21: AN ENEMY’S TEST

ELSA’S POV It didn’t take long before I got back to the room with a big tray filled with meat. The evolution was extremely painful, I could remember literally tearing at my own skin. That wouldn’t be good in the middle of a battle, the enemy would quickly kill me. What was Alex even thinking, he almost got himself killed out there, if I had shown up a bit later than I did. It would have been an entirely different story. He looked so beaten up. Why would he risk his life that way for me? Well with the way I am now, I wonder if I could beat Salvatore in a fight. During the time I held his weapon when he was close to killing Alex, I was barely holding on. I’ve grown quite a lot but it still isn’t enough.“That was fast.” Alex said, as I entered the room.“Yeah, couldn’t keep you waiting.” I said, smiling back.He held his gaze at me for a while before turning to the food.“Alex If your sister comes in my way, I would have to kill her.”“With the way you’re right now, are you sure you

  • ELSA’S PACK   Chapter 20: The Reality Of Things

Could this be it? Would I really die this way? I recounted my past memories as the sword went down my throat. I ought to have been dead already… but I wasn’t. It was quite shocking to me that I could still breathe, I could still smell Salvatore’s scent, I could still feel the blood running through my body. I looked up now, I could see her, she held the blade firmly, I could sense the strength Salvatore used in that last attack plus the added boost of the lycan weapon, and yet she held it firmly. She looked a little different now, her jawline looked more defined, she had this look in her eyes that carried the weight of problems no one could understand. Her obsidian hair gleamed in the moonlight, somehow both darker and brighter now. Salvatore looked flabbergasted to suddenly see her holding onto his staff, he had already frozen on the spot, he stood afterwards returning the weapon to his dimensional ring.“Elsa, you’re okay.”“Yes I’m well now.” She replied. She looked at me with a
