“Arhhhh oh by the gods you feral monster. You beast!” My fur was drenched in blood. I took another bite from Osborne's legs as he screamed in pain. His flesh and bone went down my throat with ease. It wasn’t disgusting, it surely wasn’t. Such a vile, gruesome and abominable act.

I knew it was wrong. Every chew screamed abomination and yet it was divine. It was unlike the meat I normally ate. The scent of flesh and blood satisfied me beyond all bounds.

He continued screaming while plucked out his fingers one by one. I shredded the fleshy muscles of his hands and mashed them under the rage of my teeth. Osborne had stopped crying now he seemed to be dying as he looked at me still in a confused manner. He still couldn’t comprehend all that had happened.

Speaking in werewolf form was difficult for werewolves but it wasn’t impossible. “Maybe in your next life you won’t take advantage of a lady ever again.” These were the last words I said to him before my jaws sank into his neck, ending him in the process.

I didn’t stop. Of course I couldn’t. The taste and each bite I took made me addicted. Before I could tell what was happening I was done eating what remained of his guts.

I felt stronger, more powerful than ever. I turned to look at Baldur's dead corpse on the floor. Werewolves consumed meat twice their size so it wasn’t really any issue for me to chew and gulp down his corpse in seconds.

Turning back to my human self I ran out of the warehouse, I had to be back home as soon as possible. I had left the farm to reach the main road. I felt so lost as I walked back home. My clothes were torn so I covered my body with a robe I found lying in one of the rooms. I took a lot of elixirs that day which I felt would be useful.

Twenty minutes had passed already and I could feel my frustration brewing from not seeing familiar buildings yet. All my life I had lived in Nevada. So it was safe to say that I was lost.

I noticed a jet black car slowly following me. I turned back to see it clearly. It was a classic 1969 Dodge Charger, the vehicle had this ominous feel to it. It wasn’t everyday one saw such an exotic vehicle especially in a country like Bulgaria. The model was old but it was still ridiculously expensive. The last time I saw such luxury was on television.

I had to be careful. Maybe it was the client the two brothers were expecting that was hunting me down. The car drove nearer. The occupant rolled down the window asking me a question.

“Are you lost?” The voice asked firmly with a hint of worry. His lush white hair floated at his back, I remember how chiseled his cheekbones looked. He had no smile on his face, it was like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulder.

He looked to be in his late twenties but I wasn’t so sure because werewolves aged slowly after thirty. I could tell from his green emerald gaze that he had good intentions. I was hypnotized by his scent. He smelt of honey and vanilla each second was gold as I starred shamelessly at the handsome stud in front of me. His nose was sculpted with care and perfection.

“Miss, I’m talking to you. Do you wanna get in?”

I was embarrassed now as I snapped out of my little trance. He didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I admired him. He must be a pompous man then.

“No thank you, I’ll be fine on my own.” I replied.

“I promise I just want to help.” Looking back at him, I opened the door without second thoughts and got into the car. It just felt right. “I was abducted, but don’t worry about that. I dealt with them. I live in Nevada, but I don’t know where I am now.” He had a much deeper look of worry for me now, and it made feel more safe.

“I’m sorry you went through all that, this country is infamous for its dangers. I am Ser Alexander.”

“Okay. Thank you for offering your help Ser Alexander, I'm Elsa.”

“It’s a beautiful name and by the gods I'm happy you’re safe.” He said his lips curving into a little smile for the first time. He looked more dashing now while smiling, his facial side beard sat perfectly on his face with effortless precision. A man’s hair is truly his own makeup.

“We are currently in Hamilton, a neighboring state to Bulgaria.”

“Take me back to Nevada, I’ll direct you where to stop. My dad must be searching the whole place for me.”

“That’s nice he must really love you a lot.” He answered his frown returning to his face once more.

“Why do you sound that way, did you loose your dad?”

“I wish it were that. Maybe things would have been better for me but he is very much alive, hail and hearthy.”

“It seems you’ve daddy issues.”

“I didn’t take you to be rude Elsa.”

“I’m sorry Alexander it’s just when you’ve been through all I went through today… a lot of things just seem rather petty.” I answered almost in a whisper.

“Trust me it’s deeper than it seems.”

“Can i trust you Alexander?” I asked with a crack in my tone. His eyes were fixed intensely on me for a second.

“Yes, as crazy as that sounds, you can trust me. A total stranger.”

“I know it sounds insane and we just met, but I feel I can really trust you.”

“Well then, you must always trust your guts and ofcourse the gods.”

“Do you believe our meeting was already fated?” I asked.

“I believe everything happens for a reason Elsa.” His answer satisfied me for some reason. I narrated every event that took place today. His face portrayed different emotions as I spoke, from surprise, to anger from anger to disgust then surprise again.

“Elsa your story is quite unique but I think you shouldn’t go around just saying this to anybody. That would be dangerous.”

“I know that Alex. What I just told you is a secret I don't plan on telling even my parents. I feel I can trust you Alex.”

“Your secret is safe elsa. I don’t really have a lot of friends to share it with even if I wanted to.” He said with an alluring smile. We had reached the store were I was abducted. I directed Alex to my home and he stopped a few blocks away.

“Elsa, please take my card and reach out to me whenever you feel the need to.”

“Sure Alex, and thank you for saving me from a possible abduction again.” I said, causing a stifled chuckling expression from him.

“I believe our paths will cross again alex till then take care.” I didn’t want us to meet anytime soon. This was the reason why I didn’t direct him to my home, I really didn’t want to get anyone involved in my circumstance.

I left the car, and watched him leave the area.

“Elsa, don’t tell me you’re still in bed. Do you even know what time it is?”

ELSA’S POVRodriguez looked flustered. The expression on his face revealed his embarrassment. His lips parted while making a statement but the words stuck on his tongue.“Anyways, be more careful with your lucid thoughts next time.”His hand met his hair as he scratched while looking elsewhere.“But what is this? You can hear my thoughts now?”“Yes, whenever I choose to. I can communicate telepathically also. The pack rules bind you and you will suffer if you violate them.”I turned to leave, and I had already taken a few steps when I noticed a looming shadow that stood above me. I turned back already knowing who followed me.“Elsa.”“Alex, you always pull up at the most unexpected time.”His lips curled in an elated smile as he got closer, taking me in for a warm embrace. It was the same feeling I felt every time I was with him, each time I wrapped my arms around him, there was this feeling in my heart, like it shouldn't end. But it always did. Incidentally, after thinking about thi

“You finally figured it out. It must have been a hard puzzle to solve.” Ha answered, his sarcasm obvious in his reply.“I told you to watch your back, no one humiliates me that way.” He got up from where he was, forming another fight stance.“So what is this, revenge?” I asked, stepping closer. Rodriguez was no match for me, but I liked his resilience; he wasn’t one to give up easily.“How about a deal Rodriguez?”He raised the corner of his eye. He stared at me for a while. After what felt like decades he responded“What kind of deal?”“It’s simple, if I lose this fight I’ll do whatever you say.”“No. That won’t be necessary, I intend on killing you here.” He replied, waving my words away.“Yes, you could end my life if you want.”“And what’s in it for you?” he shifted his leg, adjusting his stance to look stern.“You’ll work for me.” “Girl, you have some serious guts. You'll meet the gods today.”“Are you afraid to accept?”“Hahaha, you know what? I accept your request. This just

“Isn’t that the level four student who was angry when you turned him down?” It was Oliver who spoke and he just revealed some interesting information while looking at Isabella.“I feel sorry for him, imagine getting turned down by Isabella,” Brad said, laughing. Richard bumped his shoulders saying“Oh come on, stop messing around, you know how much of a jerk Athelstan was to Isabella.” “What did he do Isabella?” I asked. I didn't want to look too interested in the topic, so I wandered carefreely.Isabella’s face contorted in an unsettling way as she recalled the story. “Athelstan approached me in the first week of school, he professed love to me stating it was love at first sight, he said he could feel our connection… that I was his mate.”Everyone fell silent as Isabella narrated her ordeal with Athelstan.“I didn’t want to sound rude, so I just told him that I wasn’t ready for that, I also emphasized that I was a fresher. Athelstan didn't take this lightly, he felt his ego was b

“What the hell, that was so gruesome.”“She would have just targeted the eyes.”“I hate to be that beast.”“I think it was Oliver that killed the beast.”The students had a lot of opinions about the fight, especially the ghastly death of the monster. Many were surprised by the unorthodox method I chose, to kill the monster. But I didn’t really care about that, I was just glad it was over.“That was a good one… wouldn’t you agree with me, class?”It seemed mica had a few things to say as she got up to her feet.“Agree with you? We almost died Ser, this was definitely beyond a Ravage tier monster.”“Yes. It most certainly was. For those of you looking to work for the guilds and become adventurers, do you think you’ll decide the tier of the monster you’ll encounter while in there? Werewolves have only covered fifteen percent of the Elshire forest, with so many mysterious and unknown creatures yet to be discovered.”He paused, his gaze turned to me suddenly, it was as though he was tryin

“Oliver, it's right behind you!” I screamed out, to Oliver. He jumped up avoiding the strike to the leg delivered by the giant spider.Just minutes ago we had discussed our strengths to devise ways to end it quickly. Oliver and Benjamin were placed as our offensives considering they were stronger.“I want to be on the offensive too.” I said out loud, deciding not to be quiet.“What? You wanna get yourself killed?” Benjamin replied, his eyes seemed to be weighing me. “Besides, we will really need you guys to back us up on the defensive.” He added.“Thelma, be on the look out for the weak spot, you might notice while we are attacking.” Oliver said, releasing what looked like a trident. It wasn’t a lycan weapon but I could tell it was lethal. The spider had already revealed itself fully now. It was tall, reaching half the height of the colosseum. “Woahh!” Mica exclaimed, dodging a web that came from its mouth. It roared in anger, going straight for her again. Oliver rushed in with his

“What did you just say?” Daniel replied with a raised brow.“I mean… I don’t know if I’m strong enough to take him out.”“That is your problem. Do not disappoint the alpha.”“What if I get killed or caught doing this task?”“Then you should be proud of dying for your Alpha. But if you get caught, you know better than to mention his involvement in it. I wish you the best of luck child, try not to die yet. You interest me.” He replied heading to the stairway.Great, now I’m tasked to kill an innocent person. I can’t do that. It just makes me part of the system I fight against. I didn’t want to follow the stairway so I used the balcony again, bringing myself all the way down. Jumping and sliding down different platforms till I was back in the hallway I took off from earlier.I just had a few minutes more before my lecture, I sprinted as fast as I could, I left the castle grounds in seconds, the lecture wasn’t held in one of the many spaces in the school, rather it was held in the school
