He is stupid.

It had been a week since she last spoke with him. Levi hardly came out of his room, and not even once had she seen Christopher going to serve him food. Doesn't he eat? Of course everyone eats, or maybe he has his own kitchen inside his room?

Nooo, it was hard imagining someone like him cooking, or even doing any sort of work at all. She could still remember his stone-hard face when he had drove them back home after the unfaithful incident which had killed people on the street that only.

She was only lucky she had made it alive.

Right now, she had finished making lunch with Christopher, and was serving it on the table. She had noticed they made even extra food today. She wanted to ask, but she didn't know if she had a right to. She would just eat her lovely dinner, and walk away in peace.

Just then, she heard footsteps and looked up. Levi walked into the dining room, putting on his Normal casual clothes. His brown eyes were looking cold, and he frowned hard as he sat down at the head chair, his eyes directly on her. He didn't even hide his gaze as he kept glaring at her, making it uncomfortable for her to eat her food in peace.

Sometimes she would hear him groan, and it was becoming unbearable under his burning gaze.

She would drink water from time to time Hoping it would reduce the tension she was feeling since water was soothing, but it wasn't working as the heat in the room kept drying it off. Now she was wishing she had taken the dinner to her room.

Quietly, trying not to make a sound, she stood up holding her meal about to go to her room when his voice thundered around the room

"You're only allowed to eat at the dining table, Goldy!"

Her ass sat back down on the bed, and she kept the food too. She felt like she couldn't breathe, and the food had no taste on her lips again. Her heart was drumming too fast, and he was looking even more angrier than before.

Had this man ever smiled in his entire life? Even once?

When she was almost done, he stood up from where he sat and walked over to the  glass window. He cleaned using his finger around the edges, then he rubbed his fingers together. Suddenly, he whirled around and looked at her again, his finger suspended in the air.

Maya's POV

"What is this?" He growled.

I slowly stood up from my seat " What is that?" I quickly took another sip of my water.

He strode over to where I stood, a feet away from me as he brought his finger very close to my face. There was nothing there "What is that there?"

"Your..finger?"

"No!" He had me jumping back " You're not doing your duties well...maid! Why do I have dust particles in my hands?" He was waving his finger near my face now, his eyes still hard and angered.

"No, I cleaned everywhere today. There are no dust particles on your fingers" I stated.

His eyes flashed danger, and I swallowed. Shouldn't I have said that?

"No dust particles?" He took a step towards me and before he could cover our distance I took two more back "then what the hell is this in my fingers woman??"

"Nothing! There's nothing there. It's still clean" Is he blind? " I already dusted everywhere this morning, and I made sure it was perfectly clean...there are no dusts there"

"What??!"

Oh somebody help me. He was looking like he was about to strangle me, and when he is done he would then rip off my head "No...dust" my throat had gone dry.

I could feel sweat rolling down my temples, and it was winter for crying out loud! " Are you trying to say, I'm wrong...woman?"

"No no no" I waved both hands, pervently praying in my mind for a miracle to happen right now, and I should escape this dangerously attractive looking man who was looking like he was about to start spitting fire " I just mean, I already dusted this morning"

"And have you done so this afternoon?"

I shook my head " I only clean once a day, and it's not dusty. Everything is..."

"My house, my rules woman!!"

He was so loud, I let out a small scream. Why is he suddenly acting this way, and it's not even like anywhere is dusty at all. I did everywhere twice this morning and it was tiring as always. So why do I deserve this? Why do I deserve to be yelled at when I didn't do anything wrong? " Yes sir"

"You know what to do" he said firmly.

"I do not sir" I replied.

He shot another glare at me " What?"

"I don't know what to do. I've already done my duties for today, so I don't know what you are talking about"

Suddenly, the man burst into laughter. But it was no ordinary laughter. I was trembling at the intensity of the despise, hatred and malice I could hear in that laughter.

" Duties? What duties? Living under my roof? Sleeping on my bed? Using my water? Wearing clothes I bought...or eating MY food?"

" So that's why you're looking down on me? That's why you're so angry? You offered me all that when I became your maid. Yes, I owe you a lot but that doesn't gives you any right to make me feel like I've done nothing and only fed on you!" I burst back at him, standing my ground.

"Exactly venom. You've only fed on me, and in return you leave dust particles around my house?"

That was it. I walked over to that same window, and cleaned it with a finger. Not just that, I cleaned the other windows around before walking over to where he stood and showed him my finger, waving it in his face " You see this? Yeah, that's just a finger because there's nothing else there. You're the only one who can see some invincible dust with your stupid brown eyes! So shut up and leave me alone!" I finished, before turning around and running out of the room.

Just as I opened the main door, I came face to face with Ava, who had just arrived. I didn't spare her another glance as I just ran out of the house. This time, I won't cry.

That man can go to hell for all I care.

He's selfish, annoying, stupid, dangerous, handsome, and very stupid.

And he looks down on her. She didn't stop running till she was sure she was very far away from the house before she found a place to sit down.

.

.

Levi didn't move from where he stood. But no one dared come even one step closer to him, even Ava had decided to wait in the parlor till he was looking like he wouldn't kill anybody again, not that he didn't always have that look on his face.

She argued with him.

The darn girl was arguing with him about dust!

The darn stupid naive girl was talking back at him.

Worse, she had insulted him.

She had called him stupid.

The first time in his life anyone was insulting him, and it had to be the skeleton girl. The one who had been giving him sleepless nights since her arrival.

No, he can't just let this one slip away like this. He's gonna punish her, she's gonna get punished.

He's not gonna let her escape that easily, no that's not how it works with him.

He's gonna give her a little taste of what he was capable of doing. She would regret ever meeting him, and he would laugh at his rival. The man who also believed that he was capable of falling. Impossible!

"You're not going after her?" A head poked out from the kitchen door.

Levi didn't turn around to look at the person, instead his expression darkened but he didn't reply.

"Fine, I'll go get her" Zayn rolled his head as he walked out of the dining room

"Bring her to me then" Levi said.
