Chapter 35: The Tomb Robbers and the Executioners
It was around noon. The elite seer’s group was in the resting house for almost two days now. They were ready to set out to cross the River Nile tonight.
Because Zadi complained of a stomach ache, the Medjay and one of Zadi’s guards went out to buy some medication for her.
Eric tried his best to heal Zadi but it seemed to no avail.
Diana also helped in trying to heal the pygmy by meditation. However, Zadi could not to feel better at all. She groaned time and time again.
“We must cross the River Nile before it gets dark,” Zadi instructed in between spasms of her stomach ache. “I do not think that it is an ordinary stomach ache. As you can see, nothing has worked for me so far.”
“I think, she’s right. We have to go now before it’s too late for us.” Elise decided to follow Zadi’s bidding.
