It’s been three weeks since the terrible disaster that happened. We have since got rid of Vivian, of which I was glad, and the guy that Ryder had been in contact with met with us the other day. He had a friend with him. I was surprised to see it was a wolf. Ryder and I were suspicious at first, but he wanted to help us as well. We planned to meet at this restaurant. I came to a sudden halt as soon as I walked into the place. My wolf started jumping around in my head as the delicious scent of amaretto and caramel hit my nose.

“Are you ok?” Ryder asked.”

“Yeah, let’s go meet these two,” I answered.

I knew what the smell meant. My wolf announced it very loudly in my head. It meant my mate was somewhere in this restaurant. I wasn’t sure how to deal with this.
