Adrian's footsteps echoed in the dark abyss as he entered, a sense of annoyance evident on his face.

"Can't you at least pretend to be elated to visit me?" a voice echoed through the abyss, its source shrouded in darkness.

Adrian's irritation deepened as he responded to the voice. "Elated? Visiting you is never a cause for celebration."

The darkness seemed to pulse with a subtle energy as her laughter filled the abyss. It was a chilling sound, sending shivers down Adrian's spine.

"Oh, my dear Adrian," she purred, her voice dripping with honeyed malice. "You wound me with your lack of enthusiasm. After all, we do have unfinished business, you and I."

Adrian clenched his fists, his frustration mounting. "Let's get this over with. What do you want?"

Her form began to materialize from the shadows, revealing her sinister beauty. Her dark eyes locked onto Adrian's, sending a shiver down his spine. "I have a proposition for you, Adrian. One that could benefit both of us."
