***Jacob’s POV***

I noticed that something was wrong with Bethany. Every day, she appeared pale and tired. One day, I discovered her curled up near the sofa, napping just like the day before. Was it possible that I used too much of her energy? Was it because of my frequent visit to her bedroom?

This time, she was sleeping on my bed. I remembered asking her to clean my room and then I left to get something from the nearest department store. I couldn’t trust anyone to get something for Bethany so I had to do it.
