Chap_34. Have to Stop

Eden didn't know how she found it in her to say everything straight to Damien but she was glad, she said it anyway. The possibility of Damien falling for her was near impossible though and she was well aware of that. Now he would shower her with cold words and show her her place gracefully. She thought. And she needed some of these to get back to the reality.

Damien didn't do as per her anticipation, rather he stared at her. His heart stopped few beats as her words got registered in his mind. Her words were simple but frightening at the same time.

He shook his head, convincing himself more than Eden that there would be no falling for each other between them. It would just be a marriage of convenience. That's all.

Though Damien didn’t do anything like Eden thought, Eden got her answer in his look, in his silence. She got up with an intention to leave but she didn't even make it to few steps ahead before Damien stopped her.

"What are you_" Eden's words were stalled as Damien kissed her
