"Where the fuck did you find this?" I snapped.

"It was in the woods next to a dead wolf." Brent brought to my attention. "On my patrol, I picked up the scent of a vampire, so I followed it. I found a dead pack member with this note right next to her."

I looked down at the letter again. I took a few deep breaths, struggling to contain my rage.

"Who was it?" I questioned. "The pack member."

"Her name was Jocelyn."
