I am not dreaming

I wake up in the morning with a headache and smeared mascara on the face. I’d been crying most of the night! Today though I decided no more tears. I must take action. I get ready and get to work quickly coming up with a plan. I befriend the interns in Trevor’s dept. and stick around there a lot that day. Never looking at Trevor but, feeling disgust knowing he’s watching me. After work I make plans to go out with a couple girls from his dept. I have a feeling he’ll follow.

Just like I predicted he shows up to the restaurant where we are having dinner and drinks. I see him and the bar and excuse myself from the table. I walk up to Trevor and invite him back to the table. My plan is coming together. Be seen with him, be friends and make friends that’ll notice things. The night ends a couple hours later and I flirt with Trevor as we leave. The girls giggle and I can tell they think he’s cute! I gush over him as we walk back to our building. I say goodnight and watch as Trevor eyes me sus
