Chapter Twenty Eight

NAGISING si Bryan sa haplos ng maliliit na kamay. He opened his eyes and saw his son smiling. 

"Daddy, you fell asleep too? Mom and I already made you an afternoon breakfast," mahabang saad ng anak niya. 

Napangiti siya sa tinuran ng anak. Napakabibo nito magsalita na para bang matanda. Niyakap niya ito. "Nathan, do you want to live with me?" 

"Of course, Dad!" Agad nitong sagot. "But won't you ask Mom too? She's outside." 

Umiling siya. "She wants to stay at your grandparent's house eh. Hindi daw niya gusto dito," aniya. He was angry at Claire for hiding his son from so  why live with her too? He just wants his son.

Oh really? You mean that? The little voice teased him.
