Chapter 16

Ophelia was stripped naked in the presence of the guards around and the maids who were watching. She was forced to wrap her arms round the pole she was to be tied to.

Tears were already her food, she regrets running from her pack just for her to cross the boundary and meet the monster given to her as a mate.

The guards tied her to the pole and alerted the king who kept quarreling with his Beta. He walked outside and took the cane from the guard.

"Just fifteen strokes." He muttered to her ear.

"Kill me already and stop this embarrassments." Ophelia cried out.

He turned deaf to whatever she said and gave her a lash on her butt. "Tell me, what's going on between you and Ares? You don't only steal, but you cheat."

Her palms were dripping sweat as she gripped the pole so tight, her face was already soaked up in tears.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She replied to him, enraging him the more that he gave her more than five lashes at once.

He took a break while staring at her butt.
