Meeting The Parents

Someone once said that every man is trying to live up to his father's expectations or makeup for their father's mistakes.

Lucky I never had a father like that, because I wanted to be exactly like my father one day. There is nothing like being at the top with the world at your feet. Having everything you want within arm’s reach.

But being at the top gets very lonely after a while. All the fast cars and easy woman is never enough to fill that void. It takes a special kind of woman to make you change your ways.

My mom was that special kind of woman but there is a thing that they say about restless bones. My mom would say that his restless bones found my father a gold digging hand.

My bunny and I are sitting cuddled up in the lounge watching reruns of her favorite hospital drama when my phone lights up. It is my father.
