Deception- Book Three- Kingdom Chapter Four

Now that I am fever-free and able to train again, Xipher has been helpful in helping me strengthen my body against this weakness. If we are going in for a big battle, then I need to be strong, body and spirit. So far there have been no incidents, but we are prepared and know it will come.

“I want to train outside, Xipher. You said I went beyond what you trained me on the night of the rescue. I would like to know just how powerful I am.” I was saying taking a swallow of my coffee at breakfast one morning.

“And we will. I am just not sure you are ready physically. Your body has a long way to go before it can withstand your power.”

I sat back and sighed, “We don’t know when the attack will happen. We need me ready to do my part in defending our worlds.”

“I understand that, young one. But if you are not strong enough your power can kill you then what good will you be if you are dead?”
