View More"Her husband is here.." the maidens of the Ekalot household mummur.
"He visits her now ? three months have passed." The maidens of three sighed in disgust.
"At least he's the first person to visit, her own twin sister is out there squandering her money, what a shameless whore." One of the maids hissed in disgust.
"Shameless indeed..." the maid whispered as Delilah's husband walked passed them, a brief eye contact was made with the maid that spoke last, she faintly bowed her head in respect the moment their eyes tore from each other they all glared at Dimitri.
He graced down the hall with his presence, power was obviously noticable as he struts down the hallway, power that wasn't even his to begin with.
He stopped at a destination, a white wooden door was the only thing in his way, acting sly he tucks in his shirt and runs his finger through his jet black curly hair. An uneasy breath of unease was heard with slight cough. Dimitri froze, he's seen the tabloids how he gave up on his marriage ever since Delilah woke up from a coma, how he was just only a trophy husband and without Delilah he's basically irrelevant.
He let the rumors stir up just to foolishly show how relevant he was, but the truth is he's only relevant with Delilah, that's the reason he had power and money anyways, he was Delilah's trophy husband.
He shook the thought off, fixing his hand on his door knob he thinks thoroughly on what he was going to tell Delilah, why did he take three months before visiting her, how was he going to handle her tantrums, he was nervous but he couldn't back up now, the paparazzi ambushed him on his way here.
"Delilah..." He twist the knob and pushes himself in to see Delilah dressed in a black night gown, she was midway brushing her pen in a thick black notebook, her almond colored eyes stuck on Dimitri, her was was expressionless and cold.
There was a minute of dead silence between the two, Delilah dropped her pen and carefully gets away from her study.
"Can I help you ?" Delilah pouted innocently hinting a slight irritation, Dimitri frowned arching a brow, his thoughts enveloped him, he was expecting a tantrum, a throw down or a slap or even a loud scream but Delilah was strangely calm.
"I...you..." Dimitri stuttered, he wasn't expecting this calm reunion, Delilah folded her arms and sighed.
"Would you stop looking like a pervert? Who the fuck are you and what do you want ?" Dimitri heaved a sigh of relief, that was the Delilah he knew but as he processed the words that came out of her mouth he gently stroked his chin slightly.
"Excuse me ?" Dimitri answered.
"It seems like you're deaf, Nathalie..." immediately a maid walked in between the two. "You called ?" her eyes focused on a confused Dimitri.
"Kindly walk him out of my room, if he persist, call security..." Delilah ordered. Nathalie looked at Dimitri and looked back at Delilah.
"Mistress Delilah, this is your husband should I still call security ?" Nathalie questions which made Dimitri more confused.
"Delilah, what's going on ? I don't understand, did you already divorce me without my knowledge ?" Dimitri blabbered leaving the room in a fog of confusion.
"Sir Dimitri, please follow me I will explain.." Nathalie whispered but he ignores her walking up to Delilah, he plants both his hands on her face with a tender gaze.
"Delilah, I'm sorry if you're upset then you're allowed to be, I shouldn't have taken time before I visited you.." before he could finish speaking she slapped his grasps away from her. "I don't know you.." she yelled with tears in her eyes, her eyes glimmer innocence and confusion.
"Get him out.." Delilah sobbed.
"Delilah please.." he tried reaching out to her but Nathalie came in between them. "Master Dimitri, please leave lady Delilah, she's unwell and needs test.." Nathalie explains. "No I need to apologise.." Dimitri persisted.
"What ever you need to apologise is invalid, listen to me lady Delilah is unwell..." Nathalie explains.
"What do you mean she's unwell she looks okay.." Dimitri says. "Let's talk outside please, you'll understand everything." Dimitri gives up, Delilah was sobbing and what he came here for wasn't to make her cry. He exits the room with Nathalie leaving Delilah alone they both stood outside the room, Dimitri spoke first, "What happened to my wife ?"
"Please forgive Lady Delilah, three months ago ever since she woke up from her coma, she's been diagnosed with systemized amnesia." Nathalie spoke bowing down her head.
"She lost all her her memory ?" Dimitri quivers. "No, she only lost a few, such as the death of her parents, Vlad and you..." Nathalie whispers the last part nervously.
"I don't understand.."
"Lady Delilah, doesn't have any memory of you, you are dead to her.."
Fiona watched as one of the maids arranged her room, she sighed thinking about her last encounter with Thomas. She couldn’t stop thinking how flustered he made her she wished she at least got a moment to look him in the eye and after their last encounter she sure as well avoided him like a plague. The maids didn’t mind swarming him since Delilah didn’t give them a warning. Fiona leaned against her wall sulking, the maid in the room noticed but was too scared to start a conversation with Fiona. Infact everyone in the Ekalot didn’t chat much with Fiona unless she requested for them, this made Fiona quite lonely. If it was Delilah it would be a different case, The maids were unnecessarily close to Delilah.“Lady Fiona, I’m done.” The maid informed Fiona who was brought back to reality. Fiona nodded slowly moving towards her bed stand. ”Thank you” Fiona muttered and resumes to get lost in her thoughts. ‘’Lady Fiona, you seem disturbed ? Anything the matter ?’’ The maid proceeded to ask k
"I won't be reckless henceforth, I'll be careful." Fiona muttered calmly from the other side of the phone.Thomas sat down staring at the maniac in front of him. He was thinking to himself. How did she squander a whopping 7.5 trillion dollars if she was this smart ?She doesn't look stupid neither dense. The famous Fiona he heard rumors about was as fierce and reckless as her story was told. She was nicknamed Detroit's mad dog for a reason she was expensive to cater for and always caused chaos where ever she could cause one.It was refreshing to find out how tactical she was."Hey." Fiona yelled at Thomas who didn't realize he was staring more than he should. "What were you staring at ?" Fiona snarled. Thomas rethinks his conclusion, she's definitely not as calm as he gives her credit for. "Who else could it be ?" Thomas arched a brow which made Fiona blush a bit."We.. well stop staring at me. It's weird." Fiona weakly said as an
A lot ran through Theodore's mind, he didn't condone the game Delilah was playing but somehow she was always putting her life at risk and now his family had to join in the game. Sparking a not so dead beef between the Ekalots and the Schneiders. Theodore has even forgotten what even ignited the beef.He never one day hated Delilah, he admired her from TV since she was always praised in the news as a child prodigy. That was the reason he mostly schooled with her, back then she didn't notice him.Arielle asked to see Theodore, somehow she got access to contact him after he block her multiple times he was only going because he was aware of the dire situation.Arielle set the location to a park which is quite bold of her since she was exposed for leaking Dimitri and Delilah's tapes. Theodore felt a little sympathy because Delilah gave her word and never breaks it but she was pressured to release this so Arielle deserves every critic she got. She's fortunate t
Theodore walked into the Owen's domain, he's been busy with a private case he took to keep himself busy and working along side with Kobie debunking every rumor that Arielle might have spread. It wasn't easy because somehow, Arielle went around gossiping in either Malay or Cantonese, if Theodore knew any better he thought at most Arielle was literate with the alphabets. He wasn't aware she spoke other languages or at least several. He concluded he needed to look into her more she's getting too much to handle. He noticed Delilah frantically busy about watching Arielle's move. He knows Arielle had something to do with it. Delilah hadn't talked to him about it and Theodore didn't feel like prying her to talk if she didn't want to talk to him about it he'll wait.He memorably traced his footsteps down to him and Delilah's room. They basically shared a room and the same bed for that matter. Delilah took most of the space and Theodore was like a log on bed. At least he had to s
Fiona sat opposite Thomas who was busy on his tablet. He was residing at the Ekalots domain since he still had work to do for Delilah. The work that is, was forcing Dimitri to sign off his signature for a divorce. After requesting for an appeal Dimitri will finally be able to give off his signature.Thomas has been staying at one of the guest room, knowingly to Fiona, Thomas was a Casanova. Almost all the maiden's were swoon by him and kept granting his orders just to see his face.Thomas was fairly handsome, like Dimitri his hair was jet black was swiftly brush over his grey colored eyes. Probably that's why the ladies couldn't get enough of him, his eyes were alluring. He also had a mole underneath his eye but the maidens transformed the title to a beauty mark. They admired him even more, backing up his fairly handsome looks was his awfully suffocating charisma. It was inescapable to be reeled by him and that's why Fiona hated him she couldn't even give off the int
What happened earlier with Delilah was false, her earring wasn't bugged, it wasn't recording Arielle as well. She panicked and quickly brought it up to scare Arielle. She was sure Arielle wouldn't do anything for now, she didn't know how long it would be before Arielle called her for her. In the meantime she needed to teach Manfred a lesson so she phoned Fiona, she nervously tapped her fingers waiting for her to pick her call."Delilah ?" Fiona answers the moment the call went through. "Fiona, how are you ? How is the divorce coming along ?" Delilah asked. "Thomas is doing a good job but he won't let me know everything. Anyways Dimitri is yet to sign, Thomas had to get an appeal forcing Dimitri to sign it. The divorce will be processed probably a week from now." Fiona says.Delilah heaves a sigh of relief. "I'm glad everything is going smoothly, you still didn't answer my question. How are you ?" Delilah repeated the line went quiet almost immediately. Delilah real
