Lillian sashayed from her office and started walking to her mother's. She had summoned her to come over that Wednesday morning. She did not know the reason and that was why she was going there to find out. But it would be nothing other than business. She could always get her mum's intentions through the tone of the voice she used to talk to her and based on that tone, it was going to be all business.

Lillian walked slowly down the stairs in her mother's house and made her way into the kitchen to have her breakfast. It was the day she would be going to Abuja for the business trip, but had refused to go with Nath when he was leaving the previous day. The investors were arriving the following day, anyway. "It's actually so sad that he didn't get the investors," Mrs. William complained to her daughter for the umpteenth time."Mum, did you call me in here just to tell me that? It's been three days and you've been singing that to me ever since," Lillian said with a frown. She was actually starting to regret arguing with Nathaniel.
