Alpha's daughter

'Crystal!Crystal! Crystal please don't leave me...please say something' I pleaded 'wi I can't bear this pain' she whispered 'Crystal please I can't live without you, please dont leave me' I cried 

'He doesn't want us wi, he doesn't want to even look at us' she whimpered disappearing at the back of my mind, thud! I was awoken by the sound of lightning from outside "its just a dream its just a dream" I murmured those words to myself 

"I can't let our mate hurt us, I can't let you leave me" I murmured "but if I reject him that would hurt me too right, but I haven't turned 18 yet to be lured by the mate bond, maybe if I reject him now while I'm still 17 I wouldn't be affected by the heartbreak" I murmured out loud "damn me for not paying attention while they were teaching us about mates" I scolded my self then sighed "if I find my mate at the ceremony then I will reject him right there" after some more hours of staying awake I eventually fall back asleep 

*********************************************the  next few days flew by easley with training and more training, before we knew it we were left with just a days before the ceremony, and everybody was getting excited or anxious, Carly was anxious about meeting her mate while the whole pack was excited about having a new alpha,beta and Gamma heck I was happy for my brother and his friends 

"Wi can you come to dad's office please" ranged Xander from the staircase, while I was at the bottom of it "what did I do this time" I asked, the only time my dad called be to his office was to scold or punish me for running by the border but I haven't done that in two weeks now, he chuckled "oh I dont know but I'll protect you" as those words fell out his mouth he couldn't hold back the laughter that echoed throughout the living area 

"Are you done laughing...can we go now" I made a serious face after some few minutes we were at my Dad's office, Xander knocked once and my dad's voice boomed from the other side "enter" and with that we entered the office , i was surprised to find the betas and Gammas in the room the old and the new and my mom at the black couch, "good...you are all here, I called you all here to discuss about the ceremony" we waited for him to finish "as you all know the other Alphas will be arriving by noon, winter, Xander, wendy and myself will be welcoming the Alphas and their betas and Gammas" I let out a sigh because I thought I was in trouble "winter do you have something to say" he asked all eyes where at me now and I shrieked at my dad's gaze because he was radiating his alpha power on me 

"N-no" I looked down to show submission, "good as I was saying, jake you and Xander would be responsible for showing the guests to their respective rooms, and now I would like to inform you all that by the west border our warriors have spotted some few rogues lurking around as you all now a week ago the water spring pack was attacked and a few survived, I thought it's right that I form new alliances so that we can get the best help we can and so I invited Alpha black to the ceremony so Cander after the ceremony I expect you to form that alliance for the sake of our pack for now you can be excused" he said, after those words everyone looked so tensed 

And as I was about to leave the office my dad stopped me "winter not you" I turn around and Xander closed the door, only him dad,mom and me where left there "sit" he motioned for the chair in front of him and I took a sit, as I looked at my mom she looked tensed and sad while Xander looked tensed " winter as you know the alphas will arrive today, I would appreciate it if you get close to one of the alphas if they seem interested in choosing you as their chosen mate" i frozed 'noo dont let them do this to us wi, we have a mate waiting for us, please don't deprive us of our mate' she whimpered 

"Honey all your dad is trying to say is-" I cutted her off "he wants us to be with someone, dad you know how I feel about mates let alon chosen mates!" I yelled Crystal trying to suffice, my dad radiated his alpha power on us and ordered Crystal to submit and she did so, " I just want you to have a secured future and be safe" he growled, "in an exchange for what dad huh?...in an exchange for an alliance?"I asked while Crystal was whimpering in pain

"Dont test me winter, I might be your father but I am an alpha first and you are an Alpha's daughter so you have to do this for the pack, the whole pack is depending upon you" he growled and with that I stomped out of the office "I'll talk to her" I heard my mom say

As I got to my room Crystal was a whimpering mess howling at my head and giving me a headache 'Crystal please stop my head hurts' I hissed 'wi, I know you never wanted our mate from the start but I want my mate I can't be with the one I'm not destined to be with' she whimpered, a knock came from the door and it swung open 

My mom came to the bed and layed  there with me drawing little circles on my back "Hunny I know its hard to accept this, believe me I tried changing your father's mind but you know how stubborn he is....he thinks that if you choose a chosen mate which is an Alpha they can protect you as you will be the one to bear them an heir, I told him to let you have a chance at happiness by having your mate" 

"Mom I get it I'm the Alpha's daughter right I have to do this for the sake of the pack, I'll do as father said, now please I have to get changed we have guests to welcome" and with that I stood up and went to the bathroom
