Muffins

"Do you miss me that much that you think about me and can't see where you're going?" Jack spat "are we being cocky right now?" I spat back

"Mmm seems like we aren't in the mood" he said "well I've just trained over six hours without food" I posed with my most dramatic posture I can master

"I've been training with your brother and you know how he can throw a mean punch but I'm not complaining" he said "well I sure you can take a punch with this mean looking bod-" I was about to finish my comeback when I heard my brother clearing his throat and I jumped back a little from Jack, Jack is my brother's friend and next in line beta to the moon rising pack,ever since we where young he has always been cocky and flirtatious around me and he always thought we would be mates because I've always flirted back, while to me it was nothing more than an innocent flirt 

And my brother always told me to stop misleading him because he could see that Jake really did liked me, and when he turned 18 two years ago he found out that I wasn't his mate and he was heartbroken, but hope was still lingering in his eyes as he saw that I didn't entertain the mate subject like the other she-wolves.

"Winter ain't you going to meet up with Carly" he said "um she didn't tell me that she wanted to see me" I spat back at him

"Well I'm sure she's waiting for you at the pack house"he growled this time, I just huffed and left them, I knew my brother was just trying to protect both his bestfriend and his sister from getting hurt but mostly his friend, when I got to the kitchen the fresh smell of baked raspberry muffins hit my nostrils and I couldn't contain the moan that left my lips 

"Gail how did you know I was just craving these" I whined at out chef "well let me let you on a little secret the Luna told me to make these to lift up your mood I was told your not okay" she smiled 

As I was about to answer my mother came to the kitchen along side the female beta mrs florence who is Jake's mother, " I see you found the surprise we made you'' mom said "yess mom ..and oh my god the smell just sent me to the moon goddess her self" I chimed in, both mom and mrs florence laughed at my comment "silly child" mrs florence chimed in with a goofy smile, "now now Wi, go and wash-up then you can eat your muffins" I didn't waste no time as I splintered upstairs and went straight to the shower after a long needed bath I putted my fluffy towel on and went to my bedroom

"OH MY GOODNESS!!" I pulled my hand to my chest "what's wrong" pumped In Carly "you scared the crap out of me!" I yelled at her

"Oh sorry but I wanted to see you and I thought maybe we could go to the mall and do some shopping you know" she wiggled her eyebrows at me "sorry I've got a date wit-" I didn't even finish my sentence when a big squeak made me flinch " you have a date!! With who? Did your mate find you? Wait did you find him when you where running in the woods yester-" 

"Shhhh the answer is yes I have a date, with my raspberry muffins ofcourse, um no , and no" I said, she looked disappointed then recovered 

Carly is my bestfriend, daughter to my father's Gamma and little sister to Greyson my brother's friend, she has beautiful blonde hair and two set of hazel eyes, she is the same replica of her mother but unfortunately her mother died when she was 14, she is older than me over a year, when she turned 18 she was looking forward to finding her mate right then and there but unfortunately she didn't find him. 

"Dont worry Wi, in a few days the other Alphas and their betas and Gammas will be here and maybe we will find our mates" her eyes glittered with hope

"By we you mean you and audrey right?" I questioned, ember is Carly's wolf, " um no okay let me break it like this maybe your mate will find you" she exclaimed 

"You know I dont want a mate right now" I exclaimed 'says who?' Crystal questioned 'I'm not having this conversation right now' I shouted at her 

'But we need our mate'she whimpered and I shoved her into the back of my head, "you know when  you meet your mate I'm sure you are going to change your mind" said Carly "well firstly your not hundred percent sure that my mate is going to be one of those Alphas maybe his a noble warrior you dont know" I spat, and went to the closet to get changed then we went downstairs to the kitchen

"Oh come here my babies" I said, Carly chuckled "you know your crazy right" she said "crazy about these then yes" I moaned while savoring the taste of the muffin on my mouth, at that moment my brother and Jake came In and Jake looked at me with those lustful green  eyes
