Kory had no idea how she plans to get it done, or what she needs to do. But she remains hopeful that a chance would emerge from this party she was preparing for.

A maid already delivered a sparkling black dress that revealed not too much, but fitted her in the right places and brought out her curves.

She was casually dolled up and in no time was ready for the party. Kory has no idea how she planned to escape Thane tonight, but she sure was going to take her chances.

She was escorted out of her room, down the stairs and straight out of the mansion into a limousine parked in sight.

As Kory entered the vehicle, Thane beckoned for her to come sit at the space beside him. He tapped on it, waving for her to come close.

Not wanting any altercation between them, Kory heeded his call. Going to sit right beside him.

As she sat down, his hand rested on her shoulder, wrapping around her and pulling her close gently. As though he was asserting his possession on her.
