Chapter Eighteen

I was called to the principal's office later that day and got away with three days suspension, just because I defended myself. I was currently sitting on my bed, staring at the door. My mom would be home anytime soon. She and Amaya have tried calling a couple of times but I ignored all of them. Soon enough, I heard my mom drive into the driveway, " Jennifer! Come down here now!" Mom yelled from the living room. I dragged myself out of my room and went down to meet her.

She was pacing around in the living room, she was still wearing her lab coat and stethoscope. I stood at the end of the stairs. Her glare moved to me, " Tell me it's not true Jennifer, you didn't get suspended" she said. I didn't say anything, " what came over you? Is that how I trained you?" I looked at her.

" Train me? Mom you didn't train me, you were never around or have you forgotten? I spent my childhood with my nanny. So don't e
