Devan’s POV:

Napasandal ako sa pagkaka-upo at napatingin sa mga papeles na nakapile sa desk. There’s still too much work to do. Whenever I try to relax and close my eyelids for even just a moment, that woman’s smiling face comes inside my head which is not helping, she’s a total piece of distraction. I can’t focus on my work at all for days now. D*mn it!

I should’ve finished my work by now as usual, but d*mn! Wherever I look I always see her face! Am I experiencing hallucinations due to excessive work? I stopped everything and massaged my temples, feeling a bit of a headache.
